    pansin ko lang dun sa asus laptop ng bro-in-law ko, hindi gaanong maliwanag ang LCD screen and madilim sa bandang right side, especially when viewed from the side. A6J or A8J yung model nya. mga 1 month palang yung laptop sa kanya. ganyan ba talaga ang LCD ng Asus or may defect yung nabili nya?

    ah ok.. depende sa materials kasi yan or the LCD manufacturer, they have different supplier... and also LCD has a lot of model from cheapest to expensive...

    bro, bka yung notebook mo has a glossy na LCD, and it appears na parang mas maliwanag sya, or maybe it has ATI graphics installed, so mejo mas mganda tingnan ...

    Guys! here is mine, kakabili ko lang before Christmas
    HP Pavilion DV6185ea

    Taas ng spec at sa dami hindi ko na maalala lahat. Naka Centrino 2.0Ghz Core 2 Duo na, 1Ghz ang RAM, 120Gb SATA. Lightscribe DVD-RAM, Brightview WideScreen. Anu sa tingin nyo, ok na ba to? Tnx

    Check the support website of HP kasi i-didisclose naman nila yung thermal zones ng laptop... Pero expected palagi na mainit yung side na nandun ang hard disk at expected na may vibration sa may side ng Optical Drive... Just search HP's site to know expected temperatures sa different areas ng laptop...

    Tama si Mikmik mga Bros, yung akin due to walang patayan, umiinit din duon sa bandang wrist (left side ng tochpad) I'm using PH DV6189ea. Ang fan is at the back.

    mugen, depende sa specs yan. ganyang price ko nabili yung sa akin, tapos after 1 week naging 65K. ano bang specs nyang 69K now?

    Someone suggested undervolting here a posts ago. This can help reduce the heat although I wouldn't dare to try it out (yet). Just search google for "undervolting"
