Hindi, may mga brand talaga na sisirain eh, kahit na anong ingat mo (did I mention exploding batteries?). Mabilis masyado wear and tear.

    Happy Gilmore,

Upgrade to a gig of ram. That should help in playin games. The 256mb is not enough even for WinXP alone.

Yung A6Ja ko me kasamang DVD (containing XP Home, various software, utilities, drivers, etc). Specs are:

    Core Duo 2.0Ghz, 1GB RAM, 80GB HD, ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 256MB, 15.4 WXGA.

Oks na oks pang NBA Live 07!!! I replaced the ATI video driver with Radeon Omega driver, lalong mas smooth ang graphics pag in-over-clock. Playing also FEAR, Need for Speed Carbon and using it as a desktop replacement

Bossing Boybi, when I got this A6Ja it was newly released (last April), I paid about P70K for it. Oo da best ang Asus. I usually leave this machine 24/7 (doing ******* downloads ) and it hasnt hanged or had any hiccups. It does get hot underneath, so I bought a so-so notebook cooler for it. Mas nauuna pa nga nasisira yung mga cooler eh..Im now using my 3rd cooler. Pag nasira pa ito, bibilin ko na yung aluminum model.

The Core 2 Duo is based on a brand-new architecture that is faster and more efficient than the old architecture. The Core Duo is still based on the old Pentium M architecture, with just 2 cores instead of one.

(Source: Xbit Labs) Compared to Intel Core Duo (Yonah), Intel Core 2 Duo (Merom) has larger L2 cache, slightly deeper pipeline and added decode and execution units. In addition, Merom features more aggressive pre-fetch mechanisms than Yonah, as well as Intel’s Memory Disambiguation technology that allows for out-of-order loads. In other words, not only is Merom able to process more data at once, at a faster speed, but it can also get access to that data quicker.

Core 2 is an eighth-generation x86 architecture microprocessor produced by Intel based on an all-new CPU architecture called the Intel Core microarchitecture, which is the successor of NetBurst microarchitecture that has powered most Intel processors since 2000. Core 2 also marks the retirement of Intel's Pentium brand name that has been used from 1993 and the reunion of Intel's notebook and desktop product lines since Pentium M was released apart from Pentium 4 in 2003.

Ive read that Intel will release a Quad-core processor sometime early next year

Nice info there. BTW, sa mga recent na labas na mga notebooks, i see an intel centrino DUO processor sticker outside. yung white na sticker. does this mean ba na iba ang kulay ng sticker ng CORE 2 kesa sa DUO lang?
