Globe vs. Smart Plan

both smart and globe's plan 999 with device only comes with 5GB of data per month.. masyado mababa nga..

Sa Globe prepaid, lagi ko gamit combo tricks to have 5GB, 500 mins globe to globe call at unlitxt at approx Php215/month.
If maubos 5Gb before 30 days, will top-up again using Go50.
From my experience, hindi ko maubos 5Gb in a month unless lagi naka view Reels from FB.
Sulit din naman yung top-up lang just to extend data or duration.
This is the reason I opted out from Globe plan and instead bought prepaid sims.

Yung katapat sana nito is the Dito's 99/month, kaso di pa masyadong malawak coverage nila at hindi malakas signal sa area namin.

no hindi ko naman nauubos yun.. na ro roll over ko pa.. nauubos ko lang yan pag parati ako nasa labas, tapos ginagamit ko data to connect my laptop..

Ano bang sulit sa sim-only plan na heavy sa data? Yung prepaid ko kasi gamit ko ngayon sa work ko dahil lagi kami nasa daan ni misis. Nagloload lang ako ng Go99+ (8GB + 2GB free) for 7 days. Minsan nauubos ko minsan hindi. Pero most of the time nauubos ko mga a day before the promo expires.

215/month for 5Gb is sulit na, top-upan mo lang ng Go50 or Go90 or Go120 if maubos at you needed more data. You have an option to have 500 mins call to other networks if needed but if OK na siya globe to globe call, eto pinakamura.
Kulangin talaga pag gamitin for laptop use.
Baka lagi nag activate OS update mo kaya lagi nauubos data when you use your laptop.

same with my plan i had with Smart na more than 20 years na. availed of Portability option to retain the same number and now a prepaid. 300 pesos a month na lang load ko, solve na. unlicall/txt plus 4GB

gusto ko na din gawin yan.. pero yung anak ko kasi naka family plan na sa akin.. ayaw nya mag prepaid..

baka i convert ko na lang sa sim only.. para mas malaki free data..

Sorry, what I mean was 204, not 215.
What I mean was 500 mins globe to globe call but all net text.
I can't find a combo in Globe na all net calls, only all net text is available.

That's why I bought DITO sim because for P99, it will allow you to have 300 mins all net calls and unli txt with 7GB data. Downside lang ng dito is that hindi masyado wide signal coverage.

I checked Globe One app and there is GoUNLI50 which will allow your to have unli allnet calls and unli allnet text with 500MB data for 3 days for Php50.
If you combine this with Data offer of Go50 or the Xclusive Go50 in GlobeOne App + GOCOMBOAGBF139, it might give you the 30 day duration. I will try this once mag expire next week yung current combo ko.

I tried this one, unfortunately an error message from Globe stating that I am still subscribe to service that doesn't allow to subscribe simulateneously with GOUNLI. This is even though the promo already expired.
Since I needed the data, I subscribed back to 204 amount but this time, I subscribed to Go50 from GlobeOne app which is 7GB of data. Parang wala pang available na unlicall/text sa Globe combo.
OK lang, most of the numbers I called are Globe number naman.
