I've been using prepaid sim cards of these 2 rival companies for almost 12 years. Load ko sa globe is 100 pesos per load, pang-back up ko lang sa smart, pag naubosan ng load & pang emergency call. Load ko naman sa smart is 10 pesos per day w/ 75 txt/sms to all networks. Napansin ko lang kasi, mas mabilis maubos ang load ng smart but i maintain my smart no. kasi mas maraming smart users sa contacts ko at mas makakatipid kung smart to smart and globe to globe. By the way, may sariling loader si mrs and i also have pldt landline extention na pantawag sa bahay and sa office nya.

It's been a long time that we're not buying gadgets and i prefer using the old school nokia cell phones like the n70 which left me some kind of techno freak in the touch screen technology. But this Dec., my wife bought a cherry mobile flare and i have no other choice but to use it. it's only now that i appreciate the beauty of smartphones, and discover that smart and globe offer unlimited inernet connection through smartphones plan. Sa smart pa lang ako naka-inquire for a while and they are offering samsung galaxy pocket , i will only cash out 459 and will have unlimited txt to all networks and unlimited internet connection for only 359 or something per month. They are also offering iphone 4S for P 2000 per month plan for 2 years.

2 friends of mine told me na mas maganda daw ang plan ng globe. Dati, globe is offering blackberry phone for 599 per month plan.

Which network offer the best package? Thanks in advance po!

I think globe plan na may unlimited internet is P999. Yung price na sinabi mo is not Unlimited. Some locations may advantage si Globe and some naman si Smart. So depende siguro sa location mo at sa net usage mo ay ok ang both.

I also have my SUN line as my backup, ok din ang surfing speed nito just like globe and smart as long as may 3G signal. If walang 3G signal, none of the three are good or fast. So better check which of the providers have 3G signal on most locations na nandun ka.

^ Thanks Phoenix67! Mas marami atang cell sites ang smart dito sa province namin, that's why mas maraming smart users. I'm just a little bit worried sa smart, baka maraming additional charges.

^ rukawa11, yon na lang siguro, i'll ask globe & smart agents or i'll research kung ano yong may internet connection sa prepaid using smart phone. Ngayon lang ako naging interested kasi minsan walang magawa sa offfice or pag nasa travel or waiting mode. I've tried globe broadband before & yong sa smart usb type net connection, using my laptop but both of them are so slow. Iba na siguro ngayon sa smartphones.

You're right renzo. Actually, bihira akong tumawag and most of the time, ayoko ring tinatawagan ako kasi i don't want others to hear my conversation w/ other people. I only call in case of urgent matters or in case my contact is not answering.

been a smart postpaid subscriber(wife usees the line) for 8 years or so kasi malakas signal dito, so far service has been 80% ok. i get a free fone every 2 years for the retention plan.

me i just use the prepaid line, cause average use is about 200-300 a month, lately i've been using MEGA250 unli plan, unli text to all networks, 180 mins call to smart, sun and tnt networks and 100mb data 1 month valid . everything is ok except for the data, you can't even connect. even on my wife's postpaid line connection is so slow that you're just draining battery trying to connect. sad thing is even if you complain to their hotline or go to smart store nothing is done about it.

also about the fast load disappearing. try this text STOP ALL to 2728 its free, seems to work had my crew do it cause they have been complaining about their load.

you can alsp check which current subscription status by texting MYLIST to 2728

I use Smart prepaid (Smart Zed SIM from 11 years ago hahaha).
If you use 3g, their signal here in Los Banos can support video streaming.
I use it instead of the office internet to watch play off games hehehe.

Globe ako since unang phone ko nung 1999 (prepaid) tapos nag post paid ako nung 2000, I have 7 lines na rin sa kanila. Like any other service provider syempre may mga reklamo pa rin ako sa service nila.

TS, try mo muna load tipid plan ng globe para kung di mo maubos yung load for the month pede carry over to the next month.

Since bihira lang naman akong mag-net browse/surf & i have my own wifi * home, tama na siguro sa akin ang powersurf:

we have both Globe and Smart, I prefer Smart when it comes to service..mabilis naman yun data...saka hinde sila barat sa rentention. although Globe gave us Ipad for rentention but overall Smart pa rin malakas magbigay ng gadgets, in 2 yrs I already got 10.1 Tab, ipone 4S and now iphone 5...ang Globe isang Ipad pa lang..but by March rentention plan na rin Globe namin...so lets see kung ano ibibigay nila...nag cash out lang ako sa iphone5 ng P800 the rest walang cash out. Globe originally wanted me to give 5k yata for Ipad. but when I refused pumayag yun manager na walang cash out....

just need to talk to the manager ng retention program pag mga agent walang kwenta kausap...

That makes me interested in smart plan.
