Go for smart. better coverage and faster. siguro weak signal lang sa places owned by the Ayala's. but in most places kahit sa mga provinces ka pumunta malakas ang signal

To be honest, Globe is awful. Lots of late texts, lots of dropped calls, and finding signal can be difficult at times. Never even bothered to avail of their internet plans, and instead opted to avail of Sun Broadband for mobile surfing, libre pa Pocket Wi-Fi.
However, almost all my contacts are Globe, and that alone is why I haven't jumped ship. A lot of my friends share the same sentiments, swerte lang ng Globe na mataas ang network switching costs.

been a globe post paid subscriber since 1998 yata.. got the same number as our office land line.. started out sa plan 499 lang yata.. tapos for the longest time plan 899.. then last 3 yrs or so sinubukan ko yung mga unli plan nila.. nasa plan 999 yata ako ngayon.. every 2 years I get a phone from them.. so far happy naman ako..
Agree here, 1000%. Especially if your monthly consumption isn't that much.
How long have we been Globe clients? This is what my first Globe phone was:
It had "Handyphone" written on it instead of Nokia if i recall correctly. If i had not changed lines and bought a new phone, baka ito pa rin yung phone ko kung umasa lang ako sa retention nila.![]()

Same rin with Smart.,- wifey and myself are their subscribers for many years already.
Philips Twist pala yun..

You have to talk to the right person...Sa mga Tao ng loyalty program Ang dapat kinakausap mo and not the regular customer service agents.
0917 pa rin prefix niyo Sa globe? I remember I bought a Panasonic cellphone Sa HK circa 97 or 98 and that was my first text capable phone...dapat pa multiple send Isang text para sure na mapadala...hihihi

yung last na experience ko sa globe nung 2011.. wala daw phone for loyalty.. binibigay sa akin worth 600 pesos lang yata na rebate.. di ko kinuha.. tapos from plan 1,299.. nag downgrade ako to plan 499.. after a few days.. may tumawag.. may free phone daw if i upgrade to plan 999.. so i got my 2nd blackberry.. which is mag expire na ulit April this year..
Mga ulol mga yan they will squeeze anything from you for the cash out, globe gave us an iPad2 cellular+wifi 2 yrs ago for retention w/o any cash out...1k/month line namin Sa kanila... Sa umpisa gusto nila cash out but huwag kayo mag agree...by march I'll be asking for mini or the new iPad.
Smart talaga the best! They gave me galaxy tab 10.1 cellular+wifi, 4S, iPhone 5 in the last 2 yrs...
Ok rin minsan Wala silang stock dahil supposedly 2 iPhone 4 ibibigay nila, but sincd walamna stock naging 4S and 5...1.5 months Lang nga Ang hinintay for the iphone5...kasi I need to wait for the official launch.
BTW, hinde pala Ako Ang Nakipagusap Sa mga telco, I let my room mate handle the talking...Mas magaling siya diyan and so far it's working well...

Bad trip nga itong Globe ngayon. Wala ng free phones for loyal subscribers. Naka business loop kasi ako sa business ko for the drivers and staff kaya di ako makaalis sa Globe.

^ Alam ko sir meron din ganyang offer from smart and even sun postpaid for businesses.
*TS: Been a GHP user since 2000. Prepaid muna noon siyempre kasi college pa eh. hehe
Yung signal and speed sa data area area yan.
Trust me, I know their head who makes the program.
So pinaka-basis mo dapat is kung majority ba ng contacts mo ay Globe or Smart user. Then sa freebies lamang talaga smart. Tapos kung my CC ka pa, meron sila promo na yung cash-out mo puwede installment up to 24 months afaik. Check their website for their iphone plan.
^ Ry Tower, thanks for sharing your experience. Prepaid na kasi ang nakasanayan ko & most of the people here in our place.
I've never been interested in post paid plan before until a smart office opened in our city tapos katabi lang ng office ni mrs. & offering some freebies. You're right, sayang lang kung kukuha ka ng plan na di naman ma-consume.
I was not even interesred in net browsing through mobile before, until my wife gave me this cherry mobile flare & i realized the convenience of a smartphone.
As i've said before, di ako naghahabol at di masyadong mahilig sa gadgets, kasi na-realized ko na agad ang disadvantage nito noon pa, months lang may lalabas na namang bago, ang dami na naming appliances & gadgets na di na halos nagagamit. Kung di lang pinapalitan ni smi ang cp ko and if it's still working, baka hanggang ngayon, 3210 pa rin ang cp ko. Hehe! My wife is working in the top pawnshop company, sabi ko sa kanya, abangan mo na lang ang mga rematadong slightly used pawned gadgets, and that's what she's doing. Sometimes, we're engaged in a buy & sell of slightly used gadgets.
Napunta tuloy sa SC ang usapan, hehe! I don't need to be like them because my social status in our locality speaks for itself.I'm not rich but others think i am.

^ Still a postpaid is better since no hassle in loading and better calling experience kasi priority ka. Plus it is always better to get a friend from inside the Business Center.![]()
I use Smart prepaid (Smart Zed SIM from 11 years ago hahaha).
If you use 3g, their signal here in Los Banos can support video streaming.
I use it instead of the office internet to watch play off games hehehe.
