I am so pissed at Globe! They deactivated my SIM of more or less 8 yrs! It still had almost P300 load that expired on May 27. I did not notice it since mostly I use viber and whatsapp but the last text I received was on Jun 19. That means they deactivated my SIM dahil lang 3 weeks na walang load?!?! What the heck! No warning at all to reload or that my sim might be deactivated.
I can't even call Globe because their stupid hotline does not have the option to talk to an operator! Now I will be forced to go to a Globe service center. I did some research and this happened to some people na bigla na deactivate. Could it be a system glitch. I also read that they absolutely cannot reactivate the SIM anymore but I will try pa rin. Sayang yung number nun kasi madali tandaan (and it's 0917) Mahirap na pala maghanap ng 0917 ngayonSome are selling in shopee and lazada 0917 numbers for thousands of pesos

Sometimes it's just the sim itself that's dead. Happened to my postpaid sim a long time ago. You may be able to have your info moved to a new one at the store. They already have an online appointment site to minimize waiting.

Thanks! I didn't know that there's an appointment system pala. I usually go at the branch at Central Square kasi walang tao. I would be doubly pissed if I went there and had to wait
Hindi ako umaasa na may magagawa pa sila kasi if it's the sim dapat when I call unattended lang yung phone kaya lang it says "the number you have dialled is incorrect" [emoji24] Hassle kasi I used that number for other online accounts like Shopee

It's a prepaid? Maybe you should switch to postpaid. Sa postpaid kasi kaya nila palitan yan. Thrice na ko napalitan ng sim same number pa rin. First eh when they changed my sim from 3g to 4g. Once eh nagkamali ng deactivation yung smart, number ko na deactivate, na reactivate naman nung pumunta ako sa Smart store but with new sim same number. 3rd eh sira yung sim, I just went to their store pinalitan sim ko pero same number pa rin. Mag one decade na rin number ko.
Pero try mo pa rin. Maybe they can transfer the mobile number to a new sim just like how they do it on postpaid sim.

Smart? Parsng sa akin minsan nag sending failed pero na received naman sa pinadalhan ko.
Anong plan mo? Ako kasi old plan na Hindd na nagrenew so hinde activated yun VoLTE and Vowifi, dahil sa mga bagong plans lsng daw yun, nag complain ako kaya after 1 hour melrn tumawag at inacrivate na rin nila. Walang sense eh anong diffeence ng monthly na binabayaran ko sa binabayaran ng mga bagong plans ngayon? Eh hinde naman extra yan mga features na yan.
Gusto kasi nila ako mag renew para mawala na yun unlidata ko. [emoji23]
Hinde ko pa rin maintindihan yan voice over wifi. So kahit airplane mode ko as long as naka connect ako sa wifi gagana?
Yun VoLTE ok kasi hibde na bumabagsak to 3G signal pag sa voice call

Globe. Nag transfer ownership ako a few months ago so bago na account number but I got to keep my 25-year-old phone number.
