Nice! I called Globe, now I will be getting the following for P599 / mo.

- 3GB data + 1GB youtube
- Unlimited calls to Globe
- 100 mins calls to other network
- Unlimited SMS to all networks
- Data Rollover

Thanks guys! I agree PH plans have really improved a lot. However, we still behind other countries:

- In SG, you can get 15GB for $20 / mo with at least 100mins calls. 1 sgd = 37 php.

- In India, believe it or not, you can get 3GB per day for roughly INR150 / 28 days with unlimited calls. 1 inr = 0.73 php.

The one thing both countries have in common is they have more telco options.

I am on Plan 2499 and after my 24-month lock-in, I was able to restructure my plan (I did NOT avail of any recontracting offers) so now, my data cap has been increased from 21GB to 50GB, + APV and DisneyLife (free for 6 months then 149 each on the 7th month onwards). This is perfect, as I still have P299 worth of consumable left every month.

My monthly cut-off is coming up in a few days and I still have 34GB remaining. lol

On a side note, does anyone have had any experience having their phones unlocked by Globe after the 24-month lock-in? I have an S8+ which I intend to keep for another year or so and would like to unlock it so I can use the 2nd SIM slot for international SIMs in my travel. That way, I wouldn't have to bring a second phone or rent a hotspot abroad.

Mag re renew sana ako ng plan ng 2 ko anak to maintain the 25% discount, kasi we'll lose the discount at the end of contract. Pareho sila ₱399 for 3gb of data. So for 6 months ₱299 lang binabayaran ko sa kanila.

Sadly wala na yung ₱399 nila. ₱599 na for 2.5gb. Tapos wala na rin yung 25% discount. Parang ginago ko lang sarili ko. Doble bayad ko nabawasan pa data. So sabi ko wag na lang maintain na lang yung ₱399 for 3gb.

Oag dating naman sa wife ko wala na rin yung ₱799 for 8gb, so she had ₱999 for 10gb data + unli call. Kaso wala na rin 25% discount kasi daw new plan.

Ako lang ang nadagdagan ng 50 minutes call to unli call on plan 999 for 10gb, pero nawala din discount ko.

Parang I feel cheated, bali wala yung loyalty preference namin sa smart. Ilang years na mga plan namin. Kahit yung dating rebates nila na umaabot ng at least 1k a year naging ₱4 a month na lang na nacre credit lang sa paymaya na di ko naman ginagamit.

Nawala na pala ung bill rebate na 100 sa rewards Ni globe, anyone know if a text code still exists? Yan kasi ginagawa ko sa 917 points ko para di na problema mag claim pa Ng Kung ano ano bago ma expire Ng Oct 15. Bill rebate 500 na Lang kasi naiwan and I have butal of 400 points
