Fafa Kimps, may replacement dyan AFAIK. Punt ka sa Hidalgo pero may waiting period na one week if I am not mistaken. Pwede sa Columbia kaya lang ang tagal ng waiting period - mga one month.

how about the night pics of the Z750 may nagsabi sa ibang board na madilim daw or labo daw parang using cellphone camera? is this true? paninira lang siguro ito?.....

I also went around kanina sa mall...and may isang shop sa mall sabi kung casio lang bibilhin ko bili nalang daw ako ng pentax, pentax din daw and casio lens? any comments on this?

Z750 night pix are great. It has 60-second exposure, you can have the shutter open for 1 minute. I tried some star pictures you can see how they move around the north star.

Casio used to use Pentax lenses but not anymore. My guess is casio has cloned those lenses by now.

Pentax is also good but they don't have as much features as Exilim and the battery life is only half as the Exilim.

As for Z750 lens error it was supposedly fixed on the newer anthracite color Z750 so make sure you get that.

Thanks Psylocke, how do I know that I am getting the anthracite color Z750? what does anthracite color mean? hehe is it the color of the camera? hehehe....

I'll also make sure that I get the one with warranty para kung masira agad, I can have it changed or fixed....

guys meron pala akong nabasa tungkol sa canon, madaling masira ang lens, if not the sensor the thing that retracts it...which is true, sa akin sira ang sensor yung sa friend yung lens...kayo whats your experience? so baka the A series is out na for me....baka Xilim na ako or sony t9....may ibang suggestions pa ba diyan hehehe thanks....

my digicam is canon A300. problem ko ngayon pag power on ko minsan walang maka display sa LCD then after few minutes lalabas na ang display ano kaya ang problema sa unit?

there was a recall for some canon models with faulty sensors. halos kasabay ng recall ng sony. hindi kaya iisang manufacturer lang sila ng sensors?

The color, anthracite or metallic gray. The older units are silver.

I just bought a kodak camera with mpeg4 movie. for a 2GB memory card, I'll get two hours of video daw. tried kagabi sa 29" TV, hindi pa din pixelated parang mini-dv. a good alternative for videocams. addl. battery is 50% off until July. so mga 500+ na lang yun long-life lithium ion.

Z850 flash is stronger but the z750 isn't bad at all. When I had it I never had problems with flash.

Kodak V550 is good also, you can use optical zoom while capturing video, but battery life is very bad, and it has no manual mode, shutter priorrity and aperture priority.

The effective flash range for wide-angle shots for the Z850 and the Z750 are nearly the same. The Z850 stands out compared to the Z750 in terms of effective flash range for telephoto shots, in which the Z750 is weak.

what battery do you use? gamit mo ba fresh rechargeable batterie? i have a similar experience, but of different camera. When my battery is almost exhausted, after every picture with flash, it takes mga 5 secs for the lcd to display as viewfinder again. Maybe because its still charging the flash.. BTW, its normal when i have fresh batteries.

dont expect too much on built in flash, usually maliwanag nama lahat yan within the flash range, beyond that, subject would appear dark.

This is because the Canon A300 has a slow recycle time (5-10 seconds). Even if you have fresh batteries, the reycle time would be 5-6 seconds. If you batteries are weak, he recycle time can be between 9-10 seconds.
