*kimpoy *maop99, I bought it last weekend sa Complink SM North Cyberzone at 20,995 pero 12 months 0% Interest. I got a free 256MB Kodak SD Card, a Kodak Bag. mayroon na din sya Kodak Camera Dock like this. and some kodak voucher's like 50% off on batteries and kodak prints sa mga Kodak shops.Originally Posted by maop99
before I bought this, I already compared with almost the same price Canon Ixus 60. the problem with ixus is Avi video lang sya and medyo maputla ang screen.
what's good about this kodak model is you can edit the picture on the camera itself like cropping and red eye reduction. if you're planning to buy, get the silver color. mayruon din black but silver looks more elegant.
well battery life is not really a problem. it can drain between 150 to 250 shots. plus kodak's lithium ion is cheaper than others ata for example canon. canon battery's around 2.6k pero yun sa kodak 1k+ lang pero 50% off until July so that's only 500++ more or less.Originally Posted by Psylocke
very useful extra batts kung nasa beach. btw, it has a specific button for beach shots. somehow, anticipated ng Kodak na masyado maliwanag pag nasa beach.
with shutter and aperture controls, I agree it's not as complicated as the sony and the canon digicams. this is more like a point and shoot slim digicam.
but i'm really impressed with the MP4 video features of new Kodaks, dvd quality na tapos high compression pa. no more need to convert since standard na ata ngayun ang MP4 format sa PC.
I suggest you avoid those "unknown" brands. Picture quality is so low, and the camera body is so flimsy. Battery cover easily gets detached.
I now have a black Kodak EasyShare V530 and I love the slim body. Plus, it's great for taking videos. My prob though is the battery. It easily gets drained if you review the pictures and/or use the video functions.
Btw, where can I avail of this 50% off promo on batteries?
when I bought it, the kodak personnel gave me a voucher. you can present this voucher to any Kodak stores in the malls.

Spare Z750 battery costs 500 only, but I feel it's not really needed since one battery is more than sufficient for a whole day of heavy usage.
Yes MPEG4 is very nice, with cameras like V550 and Exilims it's like having a camcorder in your pocket. But what I don't like about the Kodak is the MOV format, it cannot be opened by my favorite video program Virtualdub, Exilims use AVI so no problem.
I'm considering Olympus Stylys 810, 710 and especially 720SW.
Thanks
ang problema sa Olympus is the memory card. xD card ang gamit. very few other devices use this kind of card. unlike SD and MMC, sangkatutak na devices ang gumagamit nito. like almost 90% of PDAs use SD/MMC.
