    What quality issues of the previous model? If you’re referring to the butterfly keyboard, they’ve changed that already.

    Big advantage of the Pro vs the Air is battery life and cooling. If you don’t need that, the Air is certainly better value.

    It should be able to play most games but recent AAA titles might struggle to get 30 fps

    Depends what you’ll play. Games from the early 2000s, yes. Current gen AAA games, hell no.
