Why not try looking at ASUS N10 ? Originally priced at around US$700 early this year, I have seen the price go down at some of the local retailers (in Manila).
What makes this netbook different from the rest is the two graphics chips: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 AND Nvidia 9300m GS 256MB DDR2 ... meaning you can play games on the faster chip or save battery by using the Intel 950 chipset. Switching between chipsets require a reboot though.
