    Yung 2 USB ports ko gamit na, 1 para sa digicam cord, 1 para sa infra red port. Nadagdagan pa ng cellphone cable link ng 7610 (wala palang infrared yun?!).

    Nakita ko kasi parang mas madaling gamitin yun sa photo transfers from my digicam, my cellphone, wife's phone, afrasay's memory card at sa soon to be digicam pa ulit. :D

    Matakaw kasi sa space pag external, as much as possible gusto ko sana bawasan nga yung mga PC components to maximize every space available dito sa cramped office/desktop.

    Jon, USB hub lang katapat niyan. a 4 port unit costs as little as P250.

    bardigones, yup been there already kaya lang mahal ang X800 PE by about P2000.

    Im leaning more towards the nVidia solution. The nVidia is at par with the ATI while running the core around 150MHz slower. This indicates more headroom for tweaks.

    Pero nagdadalawang isip talaga ako to spend 30k on a video card. Maybe i'll just wait for the 6800GT. Same features as the ultra, only a bit underclocked.

    network gurus, patulong naman... my new system is running on XP Home, tapos di ko mapagana sya sa network namin sa bahay. all the other 3 pcs can be viewed on the network and each has access to one another. yung bago lang talaga yung ayaw gumana. nakikita lang nya yung mga ibang pc sa network, pero access denied. i tried it with firewall off, ayaw parin. auto-detect/configure IP address, ayaw pa rin. i even set a manual IP and gateway, as well as subnet mask sa lahat ng PC, yung bagong system lang talaga yung suplado sa network. pano kaya to?

    para madali inetwork:
    same subnet and IP network ba?
    same workgroup?

    sample:

    IP address: 192.168.0.x
    subnet mask : 255.255.255.0

    enable mo rin file and print sharing na protocol lahat ba xp home? or yung 3 xp pro?

    nagawa ko na yan pare, ayaw talaga. XP home yung bagong PC pati yung laptop, yung 2 desktops na luma, WIN98SE.

    medyo hirap nga magnetwork ng win98 and xp eh. hehe

    try doing this:
    type mo yung name ng PC na gusto mo i-access sa windows address bar.

    para ma-access mo mismo yung computer. pag ayaw ng netbios name, try mo i-type yung manual IP address. (like \\192.168.0.5)

    nagawa ko na rin yan bro, suplado talaga! :waaah:

    the funny thing is that all the other 3 computers can interact/access each others' file on the network kahit iba-iba ang mga OS nila. yung bago lang talaga yung ayaw....

    are you able to "ping" the other computers from the new one? and vice-versa?

    is ipx/spx enabled? on the new one? on the old pc's?

    if yes, try putting them under the same Internal Network Number.

    if not, try enabling them first. see if it "sees" the other pc's.

    Malamang nga mauwi ako sa USB hub. Sa dinami-dami na PC stores na napuntahan ko iisa lang ang merong internal drive memory card reader. Kaso ang problema wala pang installer kasama. Di raw mabenta sa kanila kaya payag sya kahit 200 ko kukunin.

    Looks like this is the way to go!

    The only gripe I have against the 6800U it its power-hungriness... and of course, its price.

    Sa isang PC store dun sa SM North Edsa Carpark area. Nakalimutan ko yung name pati yung brand nung binebenta nya. Do you think it's worth it?
