to enter the bios, you must press the delete or f2 key right after the system boots up but not before windows starts to load. or else you'll have to restart again.
the first menu is usually the one that contains all the info about your drives. look for a "boot from cd-rom" option and enable it. if you think you altered a setting but you can't bring it back. dont worry, there's a "reset to default" option on the main menu.
you cant format you harddisk inside the BIOS. it can only be done through DOS or in WIndows.

brand is Creative 24 x x10 x 40...kasama niyang software is NTI CD Maker 2000 Plus...na detect naman siya ng bios pero kapag binuksan ko na yung software luamabas "No supported CD-R or CD-RW drive detected...
gumagana ito noon sa isang PC ko tapos bigla na lang lumabas nga yung warning....una kong ginawa nag format ako sa isa pang computer then installed the same hardware and software...ganun pa rin....ano kaya problema?

format the said HDD from dos. pero beware! Large capacity HDDs (20GB and above) often require proprietary partitioning software. Ano brand ng HDD mo? The problem with DOS is that it can only recognize a maximum of (i think) 8GB per partition.
Yung installation, tama yung advice ni krscla. Gawin mong boot device yung CDRom tapos boot from the winxp CD.

Anybody played Medal of Honor? My PC Athlon1600+XP 256MB Geforce2GTSDDR 64MB couldn't support this since the video is choppy. Bakit kaya??? Samantalang requirements nya di naman ganun ka taaas??? upgraded to directx9 narin po ako

Suggest ko lang, medyo babaan mo yung detail settings. Disable mo din yung auto-protect feature ng antivirus kung meron saka download the latest nVidia ForceWare v 52.16 driver. :D

gretzy, pwede ma-solve by installing xp, since it contains all the latest drivers. kaya lang xp requires a lot and i mean a lot of resources. ram requirement niya is 128MB to run decently.
