newer processor like the T-breds doenst need to unlock.Athlon xp 1700 were the most overclockers * 2500 due to the fact it was factory remarked from higher t-breds. There are 2 T-breds A and B.B is the most highly over C'z

Ok guys, you'll find this very interesting....
My OC'd Barton now runs at a cool 47C AT FULL BLAST!!! :evillaugh Whereas before, it used to run at 53degrees!
What i did was get thermaltake's ducting mod. and, at the expense of CPU fan monitoring and with a couple of decibels more of fan noise... i cut off my 80mm fan's thermistor!!! My fan used to be an intelligent, temp controlled unti which only increases revs IF the cpu is burnin! Its now running at full blast all the time! Unfortunately, my rig doesnt boot up if i connect it to the fan header, so i had to power it directly from the PSU.
I have no regrets whatsoever....... (giddy!) Im thinking of OCing even more.... but nah....

benchph1..... hahaha! :D I'll consider that someday.
The answer to your Q is Nope. I think....
Only XP (and 2000 yata) can handle both NTFS and FAT32

September 18th, 2003 07:50 AM #375pajerokid,
double na pala ng price ng processor ko..
newbie13,
thanks for the info, sayang at hindi T-bred ang nabili ko. pero nabasa ko nga na sulit daw ang 1.7ghz kasi pwede mo siya i-overclock up to 2ghz.
benchph1,
i dont think so, hindi mababasa ng win98 ang ntfs na partition. like what pajerokid said, NT platforms lang ang pwede.

elo guys ive installed this "pc health" monitoring software and found out that the voltage output of my system is below average:
heres the scenario: i have 2 HDD's, 2 CD-ROM's and recently i added 2 chassis fans.
and heres what appears on the pc-health monitoring software:
v-core- 1.65 v
+3.3 v - 3.39v
+5v - 4.87v
+12v - 11.68v
-12v - 9.06v
5vsb - 4.87v
CPU temp - 48C(idle) 52-55C(full load)
System Temp - 36-37C
if i upgrade to a higher-rated PSU will the voltage output of my system become stable?
btw my cpu is a pIII-733 and PSU is 230V

Pissword, i suggest you get the BT dongle. mas mabilis transfer rate ng BT kesa IR.
benchph1, as long as your pc runs, there's no need for an upgraded psu. however, with your current setup, i think you have a borderline case of PC power shortage. better get a 350W unit. :D

Enermax 400 watts na pasa sure, mahal nga lang.Or if you want to experiment, add a 2nd PSU kahit another 300/350 generic oks na.Sa Tipid pc they had a cdromslot psu kaya lang d ko alam kung me nagbebenta pa.
We have the same setup kaya lang ako i have 5 ttake fans,2hdd small blowers and a volcano 7 on proc but my 350 watts dual fan can still manage to handle them + 1 CFL light.
A few notes: The pit a base model BYD PHEV vs a TOTL Honda ICE. Spoiler: The Honda won, but...
