krscla, I think youre referring to USB2.0. From what i read its is faster than USB1.1 / 1.2(?). Kaya lang support for it comes after you install SP1 or SP1a (kung winXP).

May Q ako. Can you install WinXP from WinXP? or does it have to be from a freshly fdisked HDD? I just found out that my WInXP copy is a test version and i cant install SP1a!!! Cracks from the internet proved no good.

the good news --> i have regained fan monitoring! By using a simple wire splice, i converted a 3pin fan jack to a 1pin jack (yellow lang) and hooked it up to my Mobo. hayun! gumana! :D

the bad --> I nearly reformatted my PC!!! T*eN4!!! DONT TRUST EVERYTHING YOU READ IN THE INTERNET!!!! I came across these registry tweaks for optimizing XP's memory. Page files, disk cache etc. Pucha! Ayaw mag login!!! Buti na lang nadeskartehan ko using the safe mode login! whew! close one!
