Yung budget lang is PhP25,000. Like I said, hindi naman sya kagaya natin na avid or heavy user ng PC. He recently learned how to use a PC, kaya wag na natin sya bigyan ng high-end, hehehe.

Okay, sabihin ko sa kanya na pumunta sa pcx.com.ph and or rsuncomputers.

    Thank you sa inputs.

glenn, i assume laptop yan kasi armada yan yung notebook model range ng compaq. usually 1 year lang warranty nyan.
out of warranty n b ? IMO, virus, faulty Harddisk, o kaya corrupt files due to virus na in most of the time. magagawa pa yan. the best siguro re-format and re-install ng OS. as far as i know laptops are more expensive to repair than pc's because of their
smaller size & sensitivity and the parts are relatively hard to find.

    glenn.... nakupow! Hirap niyan.

    Nag-oon ba?

Im not too familiar with laptops.... proprietary kasi form factor niyan. In short, each brand operates differently

Better bring it to Compaq in Makati. Makati Ave cor Paseo :D :D :D

Much better pa rin ang Win98SE for P3's AFAIK.

Better stick to what you have currently wala namang advantage ang XP over Win 9x in terms of performance. Lakas lang humigop ng resources.

    re: monitors

Marami daw kasing bugs ang ME.

    - PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended
    - 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)
    - 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*
    - Super VGA (800 × 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
    - CD-ROM or DVD drive
    - Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

    mazdamazda:

Alam ko walang warranty ang mga surplus. Delikado...

ok naman ang win ME, yan gamit ko sa desktop...relatively more features than 98SE. pero undeniable tlga na pinaka-stable na OS ang 98SE.

winXP home naman gamit ko sa laptop
