alnr:: Hindi pa out yung Home version ng Opteron. Sa vidcard naman, dalawa lang pagpipilian. Either nVidia or ATI. I think mas advanced yung technology ng Radeon per mas powerful ang GeForce.

Di na ako masyado updated e. :D

if you're getting a new mobo for an Athlon, it better be the nForce2... VIA's offerings are rather shabby in comparison

Whats the best video card for P10k??? For gaming of course :D
    NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900 Ultra.

Ang hirap maglabas ng money for PC upgrade sa ngayon. Ang bilis kasi mapagiwanan. :sigh:

    The RAM would cost:
    512 MB PC266 DDR P 3,750.00 (buy two)
    512 MB PC333 DDR P 3,850.00 (buy two)
256 MB PC133 SDRAM P 1,600.00 (buy four if you mboard supports it)

    HDD:
-a typical 40Gig IDE HDD would cost around P3000 to P3500 depending to rotational speed.
-if you would just partition your current HDD, its "free"

To all the PC gurus here at Tsikot, my PC doesn't shut down when I turn it off. It will instead restart itself so I have to push the switch button to shut it down. What can I do to fix this problem?

By the way, this is just my second post here. Am learning a lot from you guys.

G01 - Was your pc always like this??? Or recently lang?

sup - looks like were on the same boat :D Im beginning to
    favor ATI's Radeon over nVidia.

mbt - i Havent read any good mobo reviews lately. I assume that the nForce is a mobo chipset coz your comparing it with VIA. Noticeable ba difference in speed and stability :D tia :D

    G01,

    Whats your OS?

If its Win98, theres a patch regarding that matter.

If its W2K, it is usually caused by a hardware's software like those of scanner, cd writer, zip drive...check your event viewer.
