Once youve identified the virus' family, you can proceed to symantec.com, like what ghost recommended and download the appropriate cleaning program. be prepared with the appropriate clean dos boot disk, as these tough viruses are often memory resident. goodluck!

actually, one of the quirks of today's type of hybrid viruses, they don't stay active in memory. What they do is use certain triggers like when you open your email software or browser or even when using notepad and then they will activate, do their job then exit again. This way, they can avoid detection by certain antivirus programs.

why use software when you can buy the hardware? Software version takes some of the PC's speed away kasi.

krscla:: i use the one which came with my MOBO. I used to be all obsessed about temperature and stuff dati. I think you can also use Sysoft Sandra. You can also use it to check throughput. :D

nagtotopak kazaa lite ko!
laging error habang nagdadownload, tapos lumalabas yung error screen na may, send, dont send report. winXP gamit ko. ano kaya problema nito? ngayon lang naman nagkaganito :sad:

ssaloon: pre, try reinstalling kazaa. the messages you're getting come from WinXp. Standard message yan if Windows detects stalled applications.

nareinstall ko na, pero same prob pa rin lumalabas eh. bad trip, di ako makabuo ng kanta na hindi nagsasara yung application.
