1024-896=128. Is this RAM on a laptop? Usually, some RAM is taken up by the video if there's no dedicated video ram.

I was talking about the speed of my DDR 3 1600 RAM. MY motherboard default (DDR 1333) was too slow. So, I adjusted the bios to run the memory at DDR 1600 speeds.
