and pwede pa pala ipagsabay ang Time of Use program ng Meralco with Net Metering. so mas mura ang electricity sa gabi. then at day time, you can use solar.
How practical is solar power for PH home owners?

Hi guys!
We are into solar grid tie system. You can check our website at www.ecosolarphil.com
Thanks

Can anyone recommend a 100W off-grid solar power kit? Am particularly concerned with the charge controller/inverter.
what price range kaya?
Solar Farm Rejected Amid Fears It Will ‘Suck Up The Sun’s Energy’ - Huffington Post
Lee Moran, Dec. 18, 2015
A town council in North Carolina rejected plans to rezone land for a solar farm after residents voiced fears it would cause cancer, stop plants from growing and suck up all the energy from the sun.
Two citizens reportedly made the allegations at a Woodland Town Council meeting in Northampton County, northeastern North Carolina, on Wednesday.
Bobby Mann said the farm would “suck up all the energy from the sun and businesses would not come to Woodland,” the Roanoke-Chowan Herald-News reports.
His wife, Jane, a retired science teacher, feared the proposed solar ranch could hinder photosynthesis — the process of converting light energy from the sun into chemical energy for fuel — in the area and stop plants from growing.
I'm using a goal zero yeti 400 rated at 400 watts with a goal zero Boulder solar panel 30watts for emergency purposes.
I exercise the battery by using it to charge my phones and other batteries as well as my laptop.

got this from website of solar-philippines.
1. The installed array of PV Panels produces DC Power by gathering energy from sunlight and separating electrons to make a current.
2. This DC power is then sent to an inverter, which:
a. matches the exact alternating current and frequency of your building’s grid
b. and converts the Direct current of the panels to Alternating Current
3. The power that is converted is then transmitted to the nearest load
a. If the building consumes more than what the solar produces, the supplement is taken from the original source of power
b. No switches are necessary with this system. Power usage is done automatically.
c. Batteries not required
4. While the solar power is being consumed, the MERALCO meter will move less, as the energy requirement from the electric company is reduced during the day time.
5. Overall Meralco bill reads a lower demand/consumption – Power bill is therefore reduced.
6. Excess power produced by Solar and not consumed by grocery is sent out to Meralco and can be credited to the overall bill of the facility through the newly implemented Net-Meteringd process.
with this set up, we do not have batteries in our system, as the cost of battery is very expensive and i was worried we might not be able to ROI the cost of the battery.
The benefit of net metering system is reduced electricity bill.
The benefit of a separate solar system with batteries is that in the event of a blackout, you can still have power in your house. But appliances you can use will depend on the capacity of your battery.

Meron bang dc/solar version ng surface pump, the type used in homes that fill up a tank? The typical ones i see are pumps na pang irrigation
Tumatagal ba itong Bosca na nabili ko sa lazada solar outdoor led light panel ?

^ may naka-try na ba ng ganyang security solar lights na nabibili sa online shops? ok ba sila?
madilim kasi sa likod namin and gusto ko dagdagan ang ilaw. am thinking this is the practical way because summer is approaching fast w/c means sky high electricity bills soon. kahit pa -paano hindi dagdag gastos.
i tried the garden variety solar lights for the lawn before. may mga tumagal at meron hindi... mas lalo na kapag napag-tripan ng mga aso namin![]()
