nope, 240sx is kung hindi ako nagkakamali is rps14 ang code, still under the s14 variant. 200sx, is the silvia s14, tama ba ko? so here in the philippines, magkaiba pa rin ang 240sx at 200sx though they are under s14

I highly doubt it. Sure, there are still events but only very few viewers. Mga nag sawa na sa Initial D anime hype.

Besides, to keep an event/"sport" like this alive you'll need 2 things: money and sponsors.

I don't believe na di pa na pi-pickup ng mga ibang kababayan natin yung sport of drifting since drifting has been advertised ever since Initial D anime came out sa cable tv more than 4 years ago. If that sport didn't fly during the first 2 years then don't expect it to be a major event. Kumbaga parang conversation piece nalang. I also have a "drift" car in Baguio but I never use it kasi di ko kaya mag gastos para sa mga gulong.

Is it exciting to watch? In its early years, yeah pero when it already was after the F&F3 movie that majority of us just got bored of it, at least for me.

watching i guess is ok... if you're a spectator, it gets exciting when you get ride alongs or when there's a crash that happens on the track. i still say no to street drifting, even if most of my friends do it. it's just irresponsible and just down right illegal. once you actually get into drifting though and actually start drifting your car, it's another story. you wouldn't want to watch anymore but just drive. it's one of my only stress relievers really. haha

hmm ok let clear this up, 240sx is not a chassis code its a actual name of the car meaning a 2.4liter, engine code KA24DE KA (engine code) 24 (2.4 liter) D ( Dual Overhead Cam) E (Electronic Fuel Injection). In the US nissan desided they will have a 240sx and a 200SX, RPS13 (1989-1994) & RPS14 (1995-1998) chassis code will be the only RWD in the US market.

    US 240sx

    KA24DE

early US 200SX 1984 to 1988 is a RWD based on the S12 (rear wheel drive) with an engine 2.0liter CA20DE, CA (engine code) 20 (2.0 liter) E (single cam)

Nissan desided to bring back the 200Sx in the US but in a FWD (front wheel drive) based on the sentra, 200SX in the US is a sentra coupe. powered by the SR20DE, SR (engine code) 20 (2.0liter) D (dual cam) E (electronic fuel injection) on the SE-R model and a GA16DE, GA (engine code) 16 (1.6liter) D (dual cam) E (electronic fuel injection) on the base model

out side US soil like Australia, they called them 200SX meaning they have the 2.0liter motor, SR20DE(T) SR (engine code) 20 (2.0liter) D (dual cam) E (Electronic Fuel Injection). RPS13, RPS14 & RPS15 (chassis code) was called 200SX.

Yes, magkaiba nga. Binanggit ko lang po yung 200sx kasi naghahanap ata sila locally distrubuted na RWD dito sa pinas.
Pero if you really want to find a RWD na may LSD, try nyo Starex, RWD na LSD yun..hahahaha..

Dito kasi, mababagal ang drifting kaya hindi pa exciting. Isipin mo parking lot lang. Ang itsura nya tuloy e slalom.
But if you place it in a big scale, i mean big racing tracks, break neck speeds on corners, and veeery long drifts, dun ko masasabi na sisikat ito sa pinas. You'll see all those countersteers on corners on high speeds. Sa subic meron daw drifting, pero for me, parang wala parin impact, and hindi kita lahat ng track dun na may corners.
It would also be exciting to watch kasi you are wondering seeing a very big crash on high speed, not just hitting some pylons on the track on slow speeds.
BTW, peram pala sir ng drift car nyo, matesting natin! haha..

Well its just me papz, were here to discuss, not to argue.
