Kung old model naman, parang nakaka turn off manood.

Sabi naman Pinas eh. I don't think the 2 countries are comparable especially with cars and motorsports fans. Price/cost, tastes, number of motorsports fans, etc. are VASTLY different.
There aren't even many old Skylines and RX-7s here. Meaning they must've been expensive from the start. Apart from subbies and euros/exotics, Lancer box-type pa yata yung last RWD car na na offer dito na in-stock.
And for the looks, kaya nga Pinoy cars come with standard bling like mags rather than safety features like airbags eh.
Or are you saying that it IS popular here? If you are, I'd say maybe among drivers. Heck I'd like to try it once. Pero a serious competition? With audience? Doubt it.

yung corolla na ae86 pinas version eh rwd yun ah! tska madami pa rwd cars dito, though some are already dated. pero one question, may facilites ba tayo dito for drifting? kung style initial d naman, eh punta tayo ng province nyan, as far as quezon, even mindanao!
