The problem with Twitter is that they used biased CNN and Washington Post as their fact-checkers. Twitter lost credibility on this one.

You nailed it. Very good reporting from fox. I dont think you will see this on other media channels.

Twitter exec in charge of effort to fact-check Trump has history of anti-Trump posts, called McConnell a '''bag of farts''' | Fox News

Pennsylvania State Republican leadership are certifiably Covidiots, if not borderline evil.

That's what you do if you made a mistake.... you correct it.

On the other hand, Trump would've dug his heels in, give you a smug look, and blatantly defend his insane lies.

The mainstream media have been pushing lies since before Trump was even elected with no accountability. Only now are they being fair with this executive action over their heads. I wish they continue their lies so that full antitrust action can be brought against them.

Even Jimmy Dore who is no Trump fan recognizes the hypocrisy of the mainstream media.

It's amazing how you guys hang the mainstream media for their "lies" but let the incompetent-beyond-belief-POTUS unaccountable and off the hook.

I'm watching clips of 45, saying one thing then doing another, then doubles-back, then contradict himself... wash, rinse, repeat. These are words and actions from the POTUS. True that the mainstream media has effectively put a microscope on Trump, but that is rightly so as he IS the POTUS and his words, actions, and every nuance of body language, speech patterns, promises, the black, the white and the gray, matters.

Trump is a politician and all politicians are liars. Some more than others. They also have their quirks. That's a given. Plus, Trump is just one man.

The media is supposed to be the bulwark of integrity and unbiased. They haven't demonstrated that at least since 2012 and it only got worse from there.

I'd vote for someone else if I can. But, there isn't a suitable candidate among the Democrats. They're just as bad as Trump, maybe worse. At least, Trump got some things done despite being boorish and an a**hole. The Dems hardly have anything to show except scandal after scandal and when finally put under oath, those who kept pushing those narratives admitted they had nothing. 3 years they wasted and lied. With the country in bad shape, I don't think it's a good time to change CiC. Maybe in 2024 we'll see.

Donald Trump, the Most Unmanly President | The Atlantic
Why don’t the president’s supporters hold him to their own standard of masculinity?
    by Tom Nichols

Rather, I am noting that courage, honesty, respect, an economy of words, a bit of modesty, and a willingness to take responsibility are all virtues prized by the self-identified class of hard-working men, the stand-up guys, among whom I was raised.

And yet, many of these same men expect none of those characteristics from Trump, who is a vain, cowardly, lying, vulgar, jabbering blowhard. Put another way, as a question I have asked many of the men I know: Is Trump a man your father and grandfather would have respected?
