Either they're really stupid to know the difference or are just doing it on purpose to make socialism more palatable. If it's the latter, then well-played. Using deceipt to gradually advance their socialist agenda... Politics is also the art of bullsh*tting people after all.

Yes, the terms may have been misused but many people especially Americans don't know them either so it's important to look at the policies and not just the terms they're using.
