Striking similarities to our local leader, don't you think?

    Big difference, IMO.

Du30 can be off the cuff at times but the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. In other words, he has his faults, but damn, you can see his passion and sincerity towards his job. Imagine if this Covid-19 happened under Mar Roxas.... this will be another Yolanda disaster. Besides, Du30 seems to be not seeking a 2nd term

Trump: Where do I begin? You can't trust anything he says. Everything is always about him. He stands by EVERYTHING that will benefit him. He's always showing off how he's this "very stable genius" when most of everything he believes in are either conspiracy theories or provably blatantly untrue. He's been practically campaigning for re-election ever since he became POTUS. Beyond the seemingly suave exterior (or at least he tries to project it), everyone, except Trumpers, sees a child and a bully, who resorts to calling names, mocks people with disabilities, and for somebody who said that he had no time to watch TV or play golf, watches a lot of TV and played more golf than any previous president. And don't get me started on the close to 30 Tweets a day average from July of last year to January 2020.

Trump: “When you do testing to that extent, you’re going to find people, you’re going to find more cases. So I said to my people, ‘slow the testing down.'”

President Donald Trump foiled by softball question from Sean Hannity during Fox News interview | Raw Story
    by Bob Brigham
    June 25, 2020

The leader of the free world was asked a softball question during an appearance Fox News.

Sean Hannity asked Trump about his “top priority items for a second term.”

    But Trump could not answer.

Instead, he talked about talent being more important than experience, how he had not spent much time in Washington, DC before being elected president and called former National Secrurity Advisor John Bolton an “idiot.”

Oh, di ba? You can try your best extrapolating what his ulterior motives are but whatever shady thing he does won't amount to anything that will benefit him personally. But don't get me wrong. I am not implying that he's totally clean... no politician is. But, as I mentioned earlier, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It means that there's positive "net good" from the administration as a whole.

    But I digress.

To my point, here's how POTUS 45 spends his time in the middle of a pandemic when the number of US Covid-19 cases are at its all-time high.

Another one from the Lincoln Project:

    Bounty | YouTube

Narrator: In the last year flag draped coffins have returned from Afghanistan. Now we know Vladimir Putin pays a bounty for the murder of American soldiers. Donald Trump knows too and does nothing. Putin pays the Taliban cash to slaughter our men and women in uniform and Trump is silent, weak, controlled...

seryoso ka pala? well then, you're the gift that keeps on giving - great i.t. and auto advices (w/c i sincerely find useful and innovative) and then some.

my apologies for ruffling your feathers.

you know, i had high hopes for the president because, i know it's petty and all , we belong to the same neighborhood back in davao city ( where last i heard he's safely ensconced far away from the prying eyes of the meddlesome media - a tactic, not surprisingly, utilized by the great prez donald trump too) . i never thought he'd be this big of a let down.

if your pining for an argument, i'll just let the young turks of Citizens' Budget Tracker do the talking (they're fair and objective - a huge chasm of difference compared to the pcoo) since i don't want to lose the precious levity you have gifted me this fine, but cloudy, sunday morning. they're arguably the best in town when it comes to looking into how, when, and where the gov't's acquired multi-trillion loans are - *ahem* - utilized.

    again, my apologies.
