    As I've posted earlier...

    This won't work... sayang $$$

Providing tax incentives to companies who open offices outside Metro Manila is the only solution...

I've always been open to relocate outside the MM the job opportunity at the proper area offers itself.

Or even if there was just a fast and easy way to commute to the CBD, that would still be acceptable and work to decongest
Manila of traffic as there are good schools present outside to entice keeping one's family out of the NCR.

Duterte, Abe may sign Mega Manila subway deal in November
MANILA, Philippines – The Philippines and Japan may sign this year an agreement on the Mega Manila Subway, one of the Duterte administration's major projects for addressing the megacity’s traffic woes, Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said on Tuesday, April 18.

One of my genset supplier is also supplier ng bullet trains accross the world paps... kung may project kahit 1Billion dollars... basta may contrata ako... we can build and supply kahit BOT pa... my supplier is super liquid....

Pinaka malaki kung puhunan is my contacts...

Major problem I can see is that Company A will open an office outside Metro Manila...

Company B will follow... Pero that's about it.

If you were an employee and go job hunting... Company C to Z will most probably be in Metro Manila..

If incentives are there... Mas maraming companies ang lilipat outside MM.

Let's face it... Di natin iiwan kotse natin (I personally tried and it didn't work)

inisip ko nga supplier mo ng genset yung sinasabi mong "We"

yung "We" mo kasi sounded like you're representing a Chinese rail/highway/bridge contractor

ito post mo sa kabilang thread

    Paps Sir Tsong Pare Dude

    ---

China has become so good at building highways, railways, bridges, and entire cities that they're exporting their expertise to other countries

And under the Du30 admin, magkakaroon ng madaming project ang China dito

kung ang gobyerno ng Pinas gusto magtatayo ng subway system o ng high speed rail system

direkta na makipag usap ang gobyerno sa foreign contractor/supplier

di na po siguro dadaan sa local agent

We means... we will be using our company.... in partnership with our supplier..

    We have several suppliers.

One of our supplier manufactures engine for low to medium speed power plants.. same engine na ginagamit sa bullet trains... kaya we can supply Power Generators Diesel or even hydro... and also bullet trains...

Before the end of june, we will start constructing a 10Mw Medium speed 900rpm Diesel Powered Power Plant... and it will be up and running by Aug. Of this year... malapit lang Metro manila.. i can invite you if you want...

Or pwede din.. pag natuloy kung saan ka malapit.. almost done deal 10-36Mw in Lanao-- or 10mw in Aurora.. sana matuloy... GM kausap ko sa isa.. yung isa naman subcontractor kami--- Engine or engines we will be using Mitsu-Weichai-Moteurs baudouin-Yanmar-Yannan-and Man engines.. Depende sa budget nila...

Yung sa Lanao or lasureco-- if ever matuloy... hindi namin sa Lanao itatayo... near lanao lang bec. Of the peace and order in lanao... HOPEFULL ako matuloy pero hangang walang contrata with dp.. walang kasiguruhan...

Again parang ahente lang ako dyan...

Paps by law public bidding on public utilites, or construction of locally funded public works--
subway i think this falls under public this.. and should only be up to 40% foreign owned lang.... kaya need pa din ng local supplier....

When the Philippine government wanted to build a broadband network they went to Chinese company ZTE

Did the government approach ZTE's filipino partner? (If there was one)

If ever our govt. Did go straight to Zte without a local counterpart... nakuha ba natin talaga ang best deal? And wala din ba nag broker na filipino? Dba meron din naman... brokers know that its highly anomolous and irregular... kaya iwas pusoy lang sila.. kungwari direct... pero ang totoo nyan double double patong.... and the worst part is... pag nagkasabitan... walang local company na mahahabol...

And besides that... if a local company can supply it BOT... no cash out from our govt. Why not..? Imagine how liquid our govt. will be with 350B addl. Funds on hand...

sa pagkaalam ko Mons, tunnel boring machines are owned by contractors

no need for govt to buy anything (govt just writes checks)

after the project is done, the owner ships out the machines

in some projects, contractors use 2 machines

boring a tunnel from both ends and meeting in the middle
