Tumpak. In short, it's dollar inflow. The more confident the foreign investors are in the government and the economy, the more $ will flow in. Unfortunately, those factors are missing when digong took office and babym is trying to restore, read: foreign travels.

Disagree. How many companies in the last 2 -3 years were trying to expand in Asia and look at PH as an option but eventually decided to put up plants in Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia? Those were $ lost.

kahit ako if i was a foreign company di ko first choice ang pinas

dun ako sa mas investor-friendly ASEAN countries

Fair. But do you have a study of how much tbills/bonds foreign companies invested vs FDI? You can throw in the ofw remittances and see who contributes the most.

and of course real assets can earn more than stocks or bonds

like investing in an asset you can rent out will earn more than stocks or bonds

or a real business

Right. So un point ko talaga is having the right leadership will bring more FDIs in PH and will translate to more dollars and eventually lower inflation. But Im sure you know that already.
