If this is true, at lumabas sa Board of Inquiry, sa mata ng mga mamamayan lalo maiipit si Pnoy. Mahirap ang naging kalagayan ni Pnoy at that time na nagkakabakbakan na ang SAF at MILF, sabi nga naging silent ang room... BBL or SAF men (AFP reinforcement), this applies the corporate saying "better to have an imperfect decision on Monday than a perfect decision on Friday", you just have to stand for your decision and damage control later.
Ano kaya naging pakiramdam nila habang naririnig sa radio nagpapatulong ang SAF ng reinforcement?

February 6th, 2015 10:20 AM #526Hey, mister, don't talk without thinking otherwise argue with all the valor of ignorance. First, you read Article 65, C.A. No. 408, as amended, that is the Articles of War. Second, Section 3 (Civilian authority is supreme over the military), Article II, of the 1987 Constitution. Third, Section 18 (the commander-in-chief clause and the president's calling out power), Article VII, of the 1987 Constitution.
You talk nonsense and every time you open your mouth shows your ignorance or plain stupidity. You know nothing about the Philippines, especially Central Mindanao. You don't know about the peace process. You just don't know a thing. It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.- Mark Twain

February 6th, 2015 10:24 AM #528(Disclaimer: am an armchair general)
afaik, when the US killed Bin Laden, Pres. Obama basically just gave the SEAL team the go ahead, but after that point, control transfers to the military commanders. He has no more say whether to continue the mission or not, even if some choppers were going down. You'll notice in that photo of the situation room(on Time magazine i think), pati posture ni Obama, you can tell he wasn't in charge on the mission any more.
Don't we have the same protocols in place? If yes, then P-Noy's commanders should be under scrutiny. If no, i think that's a bit flawed -- presidents are supposed to be presidents. They're not required to know how to conduct military operations, right?

Brad i wonder how you would react if the commander on the ground pushed the reserves to rescue the beleaguered SAF44 and the final tally of the casualties ended to more than 300
I also wonder how you would react if the army fired their cannons indiscriminately & would later turn out to have killed the friendlies SAF44
EXTREME INCOMPETENCE?
JUDGMENT CALL..save SAF44 at the COST of MORE CASUALTIES or painfully SACRIFICE SAF44 & save more lives considering the main objective was already ACHIEVED
Enough of the BLAME GAME that is the wish of SAF44..they are more than happy to have SERVED their nation WELL..singing the last line of our national anthemLast edited by kisshmet; February 6th, 2015 at 10:45 AM.
