September 25th, 2013 10:19 PM #931Lesson: there are no permanent friends in politics... but it is amazing that he really did not specifically deny that he was involved. What he was saying was " wag na kayong magmalinis (referring maybe to other senators)." Parang what I am getting is parepareho lang tayo....

MANILA, Philippines – Sen Jinggoy Estrada is reportedly building a new, multi-million-peso house in one of the country's high-end subdivisions.
According to a source with direct knowledge of Estrada's expenses, in 2012, the senator bought a 3,000-square meter lot in Wack-Wack subdivision in Mandaluyong. Subdivision residents who were interviewed by Rappler said it was "common knowledge" among them that the house — estimated to cost P120 million — is owned by Estrada.
Construction was ongoing on the L-shaped lot when Rappler visited the property in the second week of September. This was stopped by last week.
The lot alone along Wack-Wack Road is estimated to cost between P210 million to P240 million, as the land in the exclusive subdivision is said to be priced anywhere from P70,000-P80,000 per square meter, a check with the Wack-Wack barangay office showed.
In his 2012 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth, Estrada declared a net worth of P193.6 million. There was no mention of the Wack-Wack property.
Rappler has repeatedly tried to get Estrada’s side until he picked up his phone on Wednesday, September 18. He however hung up.
Estrada has denied any participation in any irregularity and has also refrained from participating in the ongoing Senate Blue Ribbon inquiry on the scam. He has said he is willing to face any plunder charges against him.
Estrada is accused of diverting his Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) or pork barrel to bogus non-governmental organizations allegedly set up by former military supplier Janet Lim Napoles in exchange for hefty kickbacks.
On Monday, September 16, Estrada was one of 3 senators charged with plunder by the Department of Justice (DOJ) before the Office of the Ombudsman.Last edited by Monseratto; September 25th, 2013 at 10:25 PM.

Lacson confirms P50-M ‘incentive’ to senators who convicted Corona
MANILA, Philippines – Former Senator Panfilo Lacson confirmed the P50-million “incentive” that was allegedly given to senators who voted to convict then Chief Justice Renato Corona.
“Senators who convicted Corona got P50 million, says Estrada…Not me,” Lacson told INQUIRER.net on Wednesday.
“I had no regular PDAF (priority development assistance fund). I didn’t partake of any extra fund in whatever form and for whatever purpose,” he said.
Lacson was among the 20 senators who voted to convict Corona in May 2012.
Asked if he was aware of a “confidential” letter about the additional P50 million that Estrada showed to the Senate in his privilege speech on the floor, Lacson said:
“No, but I confirm the P50 million additional.”
Asked if he knew who were the senators who supposedly accepted the additional amount, the former senator said: I don’t know who received and who didn’t. But I remember the announcement in one caucus.”
Lacson said he openly declined to accept the offer during the caucus, which was called after Corona, was impeached.
“… I need not decline because Drilon and the other knew I would not avail. But I remember declining openly in that caucus,” he said, referring to Senate President Franklin Drilon.
He said it was Drilon, then chairman of the Senate finance committee, who announced about the additional P50 million during the caucus.
“May nagbiro pa nga kung pwede kanya na lang,” Lacson added.

Php50M for each senators who convicted former cheap justice renato corona. A total of twenty(20) senators convicted Corona. Php50M x 20 = Php1B of tax payers money.

2011 national budget is 1.6 trillion pesos
2012 -- 1.8 trillion pesos
2013 -- 2 trillion pesos
it's estimated that 20% of the budget is lost to corruption (i think that's a conservative estimate)
that Napoles scam is just the tip of the iceberg
Jinggoy's expose... tip of the iceberg too
