We seem to have more respect for foreign cultures that with our own, maybe that's why we assimilate so well in other cultures/countries, but in the meantime we don't give a crap when the country is being run to the ground. Maybe we don't care because we feel the PH is a lost cause.
    We're not a country.

We're 7,10x islands of differing tribes and nations clumped together and "united" only by Spanish conquest.

The tribes don't care about each other. All the power and wealth is concentrated in Manila. There are towns in the province that have no electricity, no water, no telecommunications and no roads.

Maybe if the Philippines were a single large island, we'd have more of a sense of unity... but it's hard caring for people who live a few days away by boat (plus a day's walk up into the mountains)...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

^which is why there's been a push for having decentralized "states" in the Philippines for a long time.

Laws in region A doesn't have to apply to region B because of different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. This will also give people from Mindanao some real autonomy to govern themselves with their own laws.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

You can look out at a busy street and see whats wrong with our country. Everyone wants to be in front, push or block everyone else. Those nice people who give way get push back so many times they eventually get jaded and be the same.
Everybody is just in it for himself, who he deems as friends and family, and people who he thinks he can use to further his agenda.
If you are no one of those, walang pakielam.

I actually agree with threadstone na the "easiest" way to shape up our people is to have an outside "benevolent" force take control of everything and whip this country in the right track. But I don't really feel this is the best way to do it and most likely wont last.

We're living beings, we're all the same. People are too hung up on their "teams"

Aquino tells SC: File SALNs | Inquirer News

SC to ?nit-picking? Aquino: Justices don?t hide their SALNs | Inquirer News

I wonder where this idiot was during the Corona hearing, nagplay station kaya with Joshua? Was it not in the Corona hearing, it was proven that justices file their SALNs but are only made available upon approved request. Corona was never found guilty of non-declaration of SALN but rather non-declaration of the $$$ in his SALN that caused his impeachment.

Hay, can't comprehend how such an idiot can be president just because his mother died.

Aquino thinks he?s ?prophet of righteousness? ? law dean | Inquirer News

Fr. Ranhilio Aquino, dean of the San Beda College’s Graduate School of Law, told Radyo Inquirer 990AM, said that the President believes the “mental fallacy” that “nobody else is righteous” and all others are corrupt.
“He does not want the Supreme Court to stand in the way because this man is so convinced that he is the prophet of righteousness so anybody else who doesn’t agree with him cannot be righteous,” the law dean said.

“’Yung dumarating sa kanya na boses ng boss nya ay boses ng mga nagsasalita sa kanya na gusto nilang protektahan ang sarili nilang interes,” Fr. Aquino said.

“The students who learn fastest and the students who are willing to listen, the students who are willing to be taught are often the brightest. And that says a lot about the opposite,” he said.

Well father, Abnoy is a graduate of ADMU for special child learning.:laughbounce:

Number of jobless up by 300,000 | Inquirer News

Where is the economic gains that Abnoy brags in his SONA??? I guess he was reading former administration data or his bench mark of employment is "basta may trabaho lahat ng Kaklase, Kabarilan, at Kapartido mataas ang employment"...

Aquino takes a swipe at early campaigners | Inquirer News

Will someone tell this idiot Abnoy to talk to himself in the mirror. Instead of thinking of cha-cha, push for FOI bill and the rest of your campaign promises still hanging in the air. You and your big salivating mouth!
