    Yes I'm serious.

I'm sure a majority of people in this forum voted for Du30. (I was one of the very few asking family and friends NOT to vote for him - only my mom listened to me)

We knew he will repay old/new friends once he got elected. (same with the "new" names who just announced their candidacy)

but most people hoped for "change"

BBM would have beaten Leni if it was not for a very strong push from the previous admin and ABS...

This is the Philippines. I left and returned. The only way to change the Philippines is to remove all the Filipinos.

Would you rather vote for someone new in 2022? or vote the usual guys with the expected usual friends?
(At least we know Chavit will be celebrating if Manny wins, how about Isko?)

We can laugh at all Marcos' records. Previous and existing cases and background.

Previous and existing administrations can't get rid of them.
Ninoy's wife and son even became president and the Marcoses are still roaming freely.

Think about it. We can talk all we want, if BBM decides to run for Senate, we can be sure if has a seat ready beside his sister.

Are they really that powerful that despite all the "crimes" they committed, 2 Aquino presidents cannot send them to jail (or exile?)

    "kung guilty bakit di nakakulong"

    i'm not talking about bbm

in general -- andami tao sa lipunan natin gumawa ng krimen di nakakulong

lalo kung mayaman and at makapangyarihan

how can nakakulong be a basis?

If the Reagan administration didn't send choppers to fetch the Marcoses and their henchmen and just let the charging mob skin them alive, then there wouldn't have been this problem of another Marcos in the Palace. The Marcoses fled to Hawaii for exile, but they were allowed to come home by FVR (who was a relative of Apo Lakay).

    not guilt. crime.

if they did a crime and there are sufficient evidences to prove their crimes... why are they not in Jail?

Yes, they left thanks to the US. Pero Pinoys voted FVR despite the fact that he is "connected" to the Marcos family
After FVR, we saw ERAP then GMA then another Aquino as President -> why didn't he do anything?

Election nanaman and I hope you all registered to vote.

marcos is still respected up to this day dahil magaling sa academics. I think he can recite backwards the philippine constitution.

But academics is just a portion of life.

    Kung hindi sana nag-asawa.....

Imelda was convicted of graft and Imee was convicted of her involvement to Archimedes Trajanos' death. Bakit hindi sila nakukulong? Coz they appeal, hindi sisipot, then appeal again. They prolong the process. They lie like they always do. They don't go to prison because of our flawed justice system that they can easily manipulate. They're still in politics coz they have loyalists and they make friends and connections.

How Imee Marcos got away from paying $4M in damages for Trajano death
