    FBert Luna Santos:
Kris Aquino interviewed BBM years ago. Did you hear any nasty comments from the Ateneo Martial Law Museum? This is what you call "biased journalism" - The Ateneo Way.

    -- ---

Walandyo buhay ito!!!! nalait tuloy kayo ng taga silahis hotel.

Ako im not into this marcos hatred. I donot like imelda & imee. Remember i predicted na isesecreto libing nyan. By the way hindi ko pinanuod interview because I donot like the interviewer. I want truth in advertising. I dont think they are using what they advertiise. (Direcho ako sa comments nagbabasa.)

Pero sana nag single lang si ferdinand sr. Hindi pa kasi naimbento condom. Dahil may utak talaga marunong maglead. Pero nasira sa pagpili ng mapapangasawa. Jan sya bumagsak.

Pero mabalik ako sa atenines. Sino nga ba kayo? Ngayon pandemic matitibay ba pangangatawan nyo, kayo ba pamantayan

I grew up in the end part of the Marcos era. Back then, most people don’t talk openly against the government. Only a few would publicly denounce the ways of the government.

Takot mga tao madampot ng PC (Philippine Constabulary). Marami nadadampot ng PC na di na nakakauwi sa bahay nila. Lalo na kapag nadampot ka ng R2 units (regional intelligence).

And now the Junior is in the race. Tama nga si Lee Kuan Yew-"Only in the Philippines could a leader like Ferdinand Marcos, who pillaged his country for over 20 years, be considered for a national burial. Insignificant amounts of the loot have been recovered, yet his wife and children were allowed to return and engage in politics"…

    My own opinion...

Naniniwala akong hindi kasalanan ng anak ang kasalanan ng ama.

2nd, if they are criminals, bakit di sila naka-kulong? anong nangyari sa mga kaso nila?

However, the son is also not as smart as the father.

    F. Marcos

Marcos studied law at the University of the Philippines in Manila, attending the College of Law. He excelled in both curricular and extra-curricular activities, becoming a member of the university's swimming, boxing, and wrestling teams. He was also an accomplished orator, debater, and writer for the student newspaper.
When he sat for the 1939 Bar Examinations, he was a bar topnotcher (top scorer) with a score of 92.35%. He graduated cum laude.

He then enrolled at St Edmund Hall, Oxford to read Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE). However, despite his false claims that he graduated with a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, he did not obtain a degree and instead received a Special Diploma in Social Studies, which is given to students who have dropped out of their university course.

Marcos enrolled in the Masters in Business Administration program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, U.S. However, he did not complete the course because he withdrew from the program for his election as Vice Governor of Ilocos Norte in 1980

    BBM
    The Supreme Court as historian
By: Antonio T. Carpio - *inquirerdotnet
    Philippine Daily Inquirer / 05:06 AM September 23, 2021

Last Sept. 21, 2021, the nation marked the 49th anniversary of the declaration of martial law by then President Ferdinand Marcos who abolished Congress and made himself the dictator of the Philippines, ruling the country by decree. The martial law period also saw the plunder of the nation by President Marcos and his cronies. This plunder is established and recorded for posterity in several decisions of the Supreme Court, two of which involve the secret Marcos foreign bank accounts.

First is the landmark 2003 case of Republic v. Sandiganbayan, a unanimous en banc decision of the Supreme Court which forfeited in favor of the Philippine government $658 million in Swiss bank accounts of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos as ill-gotten wealth. The respondents in this case are the entire Marcos family, composed of Imelda Marcos, Bongbong Marcos, Imee Marcos, and Irene Marcos, who in their pleadings claimed ownership of the $658 million Swiss accounts. The Supreme Court found that “respondents judicially admitted that the money deposited with the Swiss banks belonged to them,” even as the Swiss accounts were in the names of five foreign foundations.

Second are the 2012 consolidated cases of Marcos Jr. v. Republic and Imelda Marcos v. Republic, which involved the $3,3369,975 account of Arelma, Inc., with Merrill Lynch of New York, USA. The Court’s Second Division quoted with approval the Petition for Forfeiture which narrated: “When the Marcos family fled Manila in 1986, they left behind several documents that revealed the existence of secret bank deposits in Switzerland and other financial centers. These papers xxx detailed how ‘Arelma, Inc.’ was established. xxx The latter (Arelma) was to have the same set-up as Maler, one of the five Swiss foundations xxx.” In Marcos Jr. v. Republic, Bongbong Marcos claimed, as one of the heirs of Ferdinand Marcos, ownership of the Arelma deposit. The Court, however, citing the earlier 2003 case of Republic v. Sandiganbayan, ruled that the Arelma deposit was part of the unlawfully acquired wealth of Ferdinand Marcos.

when the allies defeated the nazis in ww2 the americans took NAZI scientists one of whom was werner von braun who went on to design the saturn V which sent americans to the moon, thus winning the space race vs the soviets. this was known as operation paperclip. basically they disregarded von braun's nazi background coz they needed his expertise

so is BBM a von braun-type character? not even close so NO we shouldn't disregard his background as the dictator's son. we don't need him. he doesn't have any special abilities.

Imelda was convicted of graft and Imee was convicted of her involvement to Archimedes Trajanos' death. Bakit hindi sila nakukulong? Coz they appeal, hindi sisipot, then appeal again. They prolong the process. They lie like they always do. They don't go to prison because of our flawed justice system that they can easily manipulate. They're still in politics coz they have loyalists and they make friends and connections.

How Imee Marcos got away from paying $4M in damages for Trajano death
