Jeepney Phase out by 2016

Dapat talaga iphase out na Kasi pinapaihi pa la yan sa gasolinahan para walang bubbles sa umaga causing undue stress to motorists with expensive SUVS or cheap commercial diesel trucks just to save P50-P80, kahit magantay ng 30 min. Tapos nagging source pa ng injustice coz of marginalizing people

Sama na pati tricycle. Maglakad, magbisikleta at mag motor. Kung di na kaya maglakad, pirmi na lang sa bahay.

I don't agree including tricycles unless there is a better alternative. I live in Imus Cavite and I can't imagine the problem it would create to the ordinary Timawa's like me if the tricycle will be phased out without a better replacement.

And no, I don't own a tricycle.

Lahat ng taxi nila ay naka LPG. Yung truck sa kanila na Euro 2 ay pine phase out na nila (thru govt incentives). Yung diesel fuel nila ay super clean. Yung mga buses nila ay mga bago at wala kang nakikita ng bubuga ng usok.

At meron discipline yung mga drive nila.

wanna improve metro manila air? tax diesel fuel very heavily! give hefty tax breaks to electric vehicles.

When I was in Japan for graduate study, I got to smell diesel exhaust only once (from a dump truck). I almost got homesick hahaha

haven't you seen the metro/manila afar viewing from the hills of antipolo at daytime(just before the sun set)? paano pa kaya yung mga asthmatics?

I know. For the jeepneys, many will still not concur. What's a better replacement for tricycle btw?
