Surely you can't say that about the tourism campaign of other countries. Forgiveable if it was "inspired" from another product ad campaign, but from another country's tourism ad word for word? The "pwede na" attitude is why the Philippines is at the bottom of the ladder...

Hindi ata nag gogoogle ang DOT. lol.

    Bading na bading ah.

Ok tong si Jimenez ha. Copycat man o hindi, he knows how to play it. Utilizes online media to give it a boost, and capitalizing on the copycat angle (you can change the slogan but you cannot change Filipinos... fun side blah blah) to make it viral.

    Nice touch!

I really like our DOT sec now.

Parang nabasa ko last week umeepal nanaman yun bading na Gordon. Wrong timing daw na ngayon nilabas yun slogan dahil meron tragedy sa CDO then yun time daw niya hinde siya nagbayad ng advertising firm to come up with a slogan siya lang daw nagisip ng WOW phils.

Parang super bitter pa rin itong si bading ah... Magagalit si ace vergel niyan

WTF is wrong with priorities in this country? they should have left WOW Philippines alone and brainstorm on making the actual experience better, like modernizing the sty that is NAIA Terminal 1.

now that we have the More Fun slogan, no matter if the Swiss used it in the 50s, move on to more tangible improvements.

anyhow, matter of time na nga lang din siguro bago matsugi tong slogan na to dahil nga kopya na naman sa ibang bansa. heck... pati mga pinoy eh di yata solve dahil sa dami ng mga spoofs na naglabasan agad. obviously, for it to be successful, it has to be embraced by the filipino people first. the way its going, the local and making a big joke out of it. so i guess, bound to fail ito.

on the other hand, i still wish na sana makatulong pa rin ito sa international tourism natin.

So what's the verdict? ito na official slogan natin? or will DOT change it due to lots of criticisms?

Seriously... every time I hear "WOW Philippines!", I think of videoke machines. While that's an accurate representation of Filipinos, I don't think the slogan is all that good, otherwise...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Ok naman kahit dito sa tsikot nung una yung its more fun, kaso nung malaman na dati ng ginamit ng Swiss nasira na. Tapos pinuri yung sa Malaysia, India. Eh ganun din pala sa kanila may gumamit na rin noong araw as per the article above. So pano yan dapat bawiin ninyo yung papuri sa Malaysia at India.
