    MANILA, Philippines - "It's more fun in the Philippines."

    This is the country's newest tourism slogan launched by the Department of Tourism (DOT) to members of the press on Friday, months after the agency faced criticism over its failed "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" campaign.

    Tourism Secretary Ramon Jimenez Jr. said during the event that they "want the world not to watch but to participate" in the new campaign.

    "We need a line that is easily understood. Competitive. More fun in the Philippines is true. Keri natin ito," Jimenez said

    Well, at least this new slogan and logo seems way better than the previous ones we have seen from the DOT.

    Out of Topic: Yung fun taiwan nakakagana paunodin dahil mabango tingnan si janet hsieh.

    Kahit hindi pa naligo mukha ng sampo beses naligo.

    On Topic: Bakit kasi pinalitan pa yung "Wow Philippines" eh mas ok na yun. May problema ba sa dati slogan.

    Well... we already ditched "WOW Philippines" for "Pilipinas Kay Ganda", so we can't just step two generations of slogans back.

    Not that either was that great. Obviously, "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" was a disaster (sounding like a crossdresser fashion parade), but "WOW Philippines" has always sounded to me like a cheap, chintzy Karaoke machine brand name...

    The new slogan is okay, but doesn't really roll off the tongue. Love the logo, though.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Better than the last ones. Although the slogan I still always remember well to date is the "Malaysia, Truly Asia".

    Ganda pa ng sound track nila. Re: the logo it's a weaving parang rattan weave yata.

    Maganda lahat from Korea's "soul of Asia" to malaysia's "truly Asia", india's "incredible India" and siyempre HK's " live it. Love it"...

    Meron sila mga budget every now and then meron pa special feature pa discovery channel for them for for a week.

    Tapos lagi pa sa commercial ng discovery, CNN etc.

    Tayo saan kaya mag advertise?
