I'm just a common government employee. Kumita ba ako sa panahon ni PNoy? Well yes, the same way I got a salary from the time of Erap and GMA. All I want is simple decency and having a boss worth emulating. Not a walking/talking contradiction. None of this "I hate drugs", pero tikom bibig nung nakalusot ang P11B na shabu sa customs. Telling me to respect women, and yet talks about raping and molesting them. Galit sa corrupt pero ok lang tumanggap ng "gifts".

First of all, a big Thank You for serving the nation sir. I mean it.



Now if you will allow me to address your points.

So, what would be a "boss" worth emulating by your standards ?


Would you rather Duterte say "I love drugs" ? How would you have preferred Duterte handle the huge fiasco at Customs involving shabu ? Or would you rather the government actually put a complete stop to its anti-drug crusade ?


As I've said, the "gifts" statement was already explained by Malacañan, do you need help comprehending the nuances or are you now just sloganeering ?


Regarding his speeches, that's simply just how Duterte talks. You don't like it ? There's a mute button, use it. Some people prefer to see action from their leaders more than words, and some, apparently people like you, cling on to words in an obsessive-compulsive way.

Our beloved president is the classic example of a smooth talker. He has the charisma of a snake oil salesman, and gullible people, thinking he has the cure to all of society's ills in his medicine chest, gobble up his every word and promise of a better tomorrow. Educated and enlightened people on the other hand, know better. They see through his deceit almost instinctively. They know it's all smoke and mirrors. All talk and no action. Sadly, there are a lot of them gullible people out there.
