Wow, that's a pretty sophisticated big word.

Usage of such a high-falutin word actually tells me a number of things. One, the person is very emotionally-invested in whatever he is talking about. Two, his vocabulary is admirable to have utilized such a big word for an obviously important topic to him.

And three, I'd rather not say

I'd like to make a little exercise here, if I may. Let us apply what you just said, to you.

So, do you think you're being objective, seeing things objectively, when you label someone who happens to choose to be supportive of the current admin as a DDS ?

So, you yourself do not want to be labeled as anything, not Delawan and I'm assuming not DDS of course, but at the first instance you labeled me as DDS ?

Wait, are you in fact assuming a monopoly of pro-Philippines slash greater good ?

...and that those who do not share your views, are not for the greater good ?

Is that actually objective, do you think ?

Well, I guess it's settled then.

You've actually convinced me to your side, what with your eloquence and unequalled argumentative skills.

    Bravo

    NOT !

By the way, do you have anything against er, graphs ?

They're actually very informative, you know. At a glance. Also, you can even use your crayons to color them, just watch out for those edges, would look a lot better if you keep them strokes inside the bars

Also, is there something wrong with asking why some people on here seemed not to like Duterte ?

Net Foreign Direct Investments in the past two years have in fact been higher than the previous three years 2014-2016.

It did drop this year though. But only this year. So the conclusion that investors are shying away BECAUSE of the Duterte admin doesn't really hold water. If it was indeed the reason the investors would have stayed away the moment Duterte assumed office, when the full anti-Duterte media blitz both national and international was at full embarassing throttle. Besides, one can actually just as well probably reference the ongoing US-China trade war as having an influence on our current DFI figures.

About the voters, I don't really think we can be selective in judging the political decisions of the populace. One cannnot condemn the Filipinos' decision to vote into office certain personalities just because one doesn't particularly like them, and then sing praises to the same voting population when they vote someone agreeable to one's tastes.

    It doesn't work that way.

I agree on the ideals of better governance. But I for one do not think in a vacuum. It's harder to be manipulated by spin doctors when you're a realist.
And what is the reality? Again I already said that campaign period pa lang la na ako bilib kay PDuts. What spin does the delawan have to do to me. Yung spin doctors ni PDuts ang tingin ko hanggang ngayon spin pa rin ng spin kaya the 16M voters are sticking to their man. Sabagay pride din yan. Kapag sinabi mo kasi na palpak binoto mo, ergo palpak decision mo.

Re voters. Again our voting history shows the fragility if not the feebleness of the "majority" of voters. We are the one who afterall voted for Erap and almost made him president again. If you really believe that we as a nation are voting intellectually then you my friend is naive. Kaya minsan tumatama sila kasi nga feeble at based on popularity. If I am glad that PNoy won aba eh hindi pwede tsumamba naman ang panahon at kamamaray lang ni Cory kaya siya naging popular? That does not mean they voted wisely. Eh si Erap nga 2nd tinalo pa si Villar who spent a fortune compared to PNoy and Erap.

Let's agree to disagree na lang. You are obviously enamored by PDuts. I on the other hand doesn't believe in his lies. So whose the real realist?

Asking innocent question kuno to start the ball rolling.

    Trying to achieve what?

    Style mo bulok.

Hinde na pinapabwelo mga ganyan. It's like cancer you have to catch it early to eradicate it.

    Tsupi! Tsupi!

As I've said if the ulol would lile to talk about graphs and economy meron economy thread but we all know hinde naman yun ang gusto niya.

Please allow me to correct you. "Enamored" is such a strong, emotional word. As you probably know, strong emotions most likely apply to some other poster, not me.

The people will choose who they will choose. You and I are part of the "people". You and I may have different ideas than what the collective voters ultimately choose, but whoever comes out on top we all have to live with--that is democracy. If you are going to rant about how gullible the voters are every time they choose someone you don't like I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

And who gets to say a certain vote is the "intellectual" one ? Leila de Lima as senator ? Voting for someone who spent a fortune for the campaign ?

Is there something wrong with what I did ?

Hindi na pinapabwelo ? My, someone's panties are in a bunch indeed

I posted on this thread because I wanted to discuss politics. Somebody mentioned the economy here, and I refuted with facts in that graph.

Innocent questions ? For goodness sakes, this thread is "Digong, The President" of course I came here expecting to talk about him and his administration

I'm still waiting to see the rest of your rich vocabulary. You have already done me so much favor already, please do go on. Everybody can see who's who. Words do have that telling effect.

Pwede ka naman magmukhang native, maging disente at hindi pa rin kurap.

Oh btw, yung bastos na mukhang native, hindi kurap? LOLz. Ang dami nang warning flags, hindi lang galing sa COA, pati sa bibig niya mismo.

Well, can you be specific with your misgivings against Duterte ?

Spin doctors have been with us long before Duterte.

And from the looks of surveys--which btw I'm not such a big fan of, majority of the 16M you trivialize not only stuck to their guns but have grown their numbers--as of last count 78% of the population approve of Duterte--this has grown beyond those who originally voted for Duterte. I guess those people who voted for candidates other than Duterte do not have "pride," they are in effect admitting "palpak ang binoto nila, ergo palpak decision nila"--they now admit they should have voted for Duterte

the ateneo alumni who ran the previous admin only took care of their own tribe

the masses used to admire the matangos-ilonged, well-behaved, well-spoken elites but not anymore

the disenchantment gave rise to du30 who is the polar opposite

after more than 3 years the anti-konyo sentiment is still strong based on du30's popularity rating and the victory of pro-admin candidates in the midterm election

    i think this will endure

The only thing I can remember regarding COA is the statement referencing gifts to cops.

I think Malacaņan has explained that already.

Or are we now switching the words "cops" and Duterte himself to make all these feasible ?
