kahit denied pa yan, nandun pa din yung intention na tulungan si Sanchez. saka bakit kay Panelo lalapit yung anak? it only means na malapit pa din sila sa isa't isa.

Right again sir. Connect the dots. It's so easy to those who don't pretend to be blind.

Judge who sentenced Sanchez tells Duterte spokesman to resign over early release issue

"Harriet Demetriou, the judge who sentenced convicted murderer-rapist Antonio Sanchez to seven life terms in prison, yesterday urged presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo to resign from his post, saying she believed it was likely that Panelo was involved with the plan to release the former Calauan mayor from prison.

Panelo and Sanchez have a lot of shared history. The former was one of Sanchez’s defense lawyers when he was tried for the 1993 killing of University of the Philippines Los Baños students Eileen Sarmenta and Allan Gomez, her boyfriend.

Panelo last week denied having anything to do with Sanchez since the early ’90s, and said he actually withdrew from the case before the 1995 conviction was handed down. He also said he no longer communicates with the convict.

Demetriou, however, isn’t buying it. “It is impossible that Panelo didn’t maneuver the decision to favor his former client, given his position in the Duterte administration,” she said in a conversation with several reporters.

“He cannot claim ignorance,” she added. “Why? He’s the defense counsel. He’s Sanchez’s lawyer.”

for someone who is "doing a good job", how come he missed such important information of a high-profile inmate. he must've been living under a rock for not knowing it, it was all over the news before. he could at least ask his most trusted man to do a double check on Sanchez' record. it's just his alibi, plain & simple.

Why doesn’t the Philippines adopt the US system for “Parole for good behavior/early release?
Parolee will be assigned a parole officer. They have a scheduled report to the officer. They cannot leave the State. They have to have their whereabouts known.

with the mess on Bucor, sa dami ng pinalaya nila na drug lord na chinese, bakit hinde pa nila palayain si De 5. they had painted all over that De 5 is the big time drug protector, kinulong pero anjan pa din ang drugs. hinde kaya nila kinulong si De 5 para hinde ma disrupt ang drugs operation nila especially with the chinese.... parang may pattern kay Faeldon eh... connect the dots... sa BOC siya nag palusot ng drugs sa magnetic lifter na pinasok ng mga chinese, dinala sa BuCor para palayain ang mga chinese drug lords, yun kay Sanchez baka pakiusap ni butiki yan kaya papalayain. ano bang credibility meron si Butiki. baka pati mga media sa malacanang wala na bilib sa mga sinasabi niya, they are just reporting it because it is their job pero deep inside bwisit na din sila jan kay butiki.
