Those skill specific trainings won't give you much points. In other words, you need to "patronize" the association you are with.
I'm not saying that we should not upgrade our skills and knowledge. It's just that, they should give equal value to other seminars and trainings that are specific to your field. For example, enrolling for a doctorate degree or even a master's degree should have some "weight". Six units in a year, even three, is troublesome to finish compared to attending a three-day seminar.
