His Phl record is 5.71m, a world class standard (currently, he is more than a meter more than his closest pinoy competitor). He is trained in Italy by a Russian coach. By his estimate, he needs approximately P220,000 a month for everything.
The Philippines is clamoring for an Olympic gold but is too cheap to spend for it.

As for me, the gov’t shouldn’t be wasting money on the SEA, Asian or Olympic games anymore. To much waste of our hard earned money. Just think, we will be hosting the SEA games but the Sports bodies are in disarray. And to think this happens everytime. After every SEA games, officials promise change pero ganun pa rin. This country is really doomed.
