I was referring to the 2km - 3km sniper kills. These shots require prior shot/s to be fired to be able to compensate for environmental factors.

With Mayor Halili's case, the impact when the bullet hit his phone and body will surely produce a loud sound, as one witness described.

A dismissed policeman, an intelligence agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, a traffic constable from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and another one were arrested after being tagged in the kidnapping of a Chinese national and theft of his family’s vehicles in Quezon City last month.

Yup sabi nung PNP Chief wag daw iassociate sa military/pnp agad since anybody can train at sniping. That's correct but not anybody can have the skill set to camuouflage, setup a nest and escape without getting caught after pulling the trigger.

I think the skills can be taught and learned by anyone. Its the discipline to stay quiet, unmoving, concealed and waiting out the target to appear that is difficult to acquire. Something only a select few have. He/she could have been staying there since Sunday afternoon waiting.

naisip ko lang, kung yun bullet can travel faster than speed of sound, hinde ba maapektuhan ang travel nun since lahat sila kumakanta na bayang magiliw nun time na yun

And also baka nga hinde na sundalo ang sniper kasi ang totoo soldier i respect flag raising ceremony

    The gunner has hunting instinct

Knowing your target, where the target will be takes time to observe (scouting)

Bitter truth is...private citizens here that engage in practical shooting are more adept and skilled when in terms of firmarms proficiency, competative ones shoot around 300rds a week..minimum..the financially blessed shoot upwards of 500rds..ask any policemen when was the last time they practiced..

not really. what you saw on the street are beat policemen. but go to saf school or to fort magsaysay or at the navsog cavite naval base.

no private citizen, no civilian, i repeat no private citizen or civilian can approximate what they can do. a civilian would be very happy if he can do an inch of what they can. that's the bitter truth.

The shooting accurately part is easy. But do these gentlemen enthusiast marksmen have the patience, resilience and discipline to stake out the target for hours, enduring the heat, the bugs, the smell and feeling of wet grass and mud and the rain?

So Digong was the guest speaker at both DENR anniversary and DOST NSTW events. And yet none of his speeches at both events have anything to do with the environment (about Cimatu) nor science.(about religion of all things!).

the sitting mayor cum president duterte spent P 2.5 billion in intel funds in 2017. a staggering amount compared to ex president aquino who only expended a total of P 2.98 billion in intelligence funds in his entire 6 year term.

Duterte expenses up by 5%: Choppers, consultants, intel

coa also raised several red flags on the sloppy inventory and the seemingly inefficient and excessive spending on the presidential airlift wing.

btw, there were 2 politicians who were ambushed in cavite and in lanao del sur today. i guess it's open season on local officials
