i read that piece written by judge stephen trott, bro.

i am glad he mentioned how the testimony of sammy the bull gravano brought down john gotti, the capo de tutti capi of the gambino family.

closer to home, joseph ejercito estrada was convicted of plunder by virtue of his criminal associates' testimony.

using a thief to catch a thief is rooted in pragmatism, for who can better explain their modus operandi than themselves.

"we only divulge our deepest, darkest secrets to people very close to us"- that was from former ombudsman simeon marcelo during estrada's impeachment trial.

He said if he only revealed earlier what he knew, the EJK would have not happened...

But Atty., being what they are brings into question the witnesses' credibility. Even more disturbing when seemingly, their continued existence depends on their cooperation. Remember that stabbing incident? Hard to decide who to trust anymore.

yes, i agree, bro. the witness' credibility or his lack of it is the problem. that problem rests on the shoulders of the judge who will the decide the case. that is the responsibility too of the defense counsel to establish that the witness is not telling the truth. and there is no instrument known to our system to sift through lies and half-truths but the art of cross-examination.

parenthetically, speaking of cross-examination the names of dean antonio coronel, estelito mendoza, juan martinez (no, not me, the real one, i mean), clarence darrow, and gerry spence come easily to mind.

Coming from you, all brilliant specimens bro, I'm sure. I just wonder if their time might be better spent on cases that matter more than what to me seems like political mud slinging.

    GANITO KAMI SA BANSANG FENTANILLA

This is not a fake news.
This is an entire alternate universe.
Napoles is innocent. Gloria is free.
    The super-thief Marcos is a super-hero.
Peter Lim is free. Jack Lam is free.
Inmates are star witnesses who get VIP perks.
Duterte took Marcos plunder money for “Change!”
Frat brods took P50M bribe for “safekeeping!”
Trust me there is no corruption.
P8-trillion infrastructure fund is safe from trapos.
Tens of billions for War on Drugs.
Billions in “intelligence” funds. To help dumb ones!
Couple of billions for displaced mine workers.
    No billions for Surigao quake.
    Donate to DSWD.
We have the Best and the Brightest.
Foreign Secretary who was American – truly foreign.
Communications Secretary who is Trolls Secretary.
Lots of showbiz, loyalists, classmates, province-mates.
Secretary of Justice is eminently qualified.
He believes drug personalities are not human.
He’s a real man wearing a fake wig.
Not a fake man wearing a real wig.
Selfies for biggest criminals and smugglers.
    Push-ups for suspected police criminals.
Bullets and masking tape for petty suspects.
    The rich pay with cash.
    The poor pay with lives.
Philippines is very safe. Just like Singapore.
CPP-NPA are fighting for their beliefs so let's talk.
Oh wait, they are terrorists. Get them.
Abu Sayyaf are fighting for their beliefs.
Oh wait, they are terrorists. Eat them.
There is no Davao Death Squad.
People are just falling dead at night in gutters.
    But charge that guy Matobato.
For crimes he admitted as DDS hitman.
We love the Philippines. See him holding the flag?
So we share it piece-by-piece with China.
    Potluck party.
They bring pancit, trains and loans.
We bring bagoong, islands and seas.
My God, I hate drugs more!
We love China, which supplies 99% of our shabu.
We hate America, which supplies 100% of our Fentanyl.
He should shift to shabu. Cheaper na, made-in-China pa
Digong campaigned that he is poor. Challenged about his bank account, no I am rich he says.

    It can go either way.

I personally think they pushed it faster than planned as a vain effort to smokescreen the Senate investigations on the DDS and Duterte.

biglang natahimik ang thread na'to ah.

let this be a waring to those who openly attack the goverment. pag na-issue-han ka ng arrest order, kulong ka pa din, even if you say you have a point in your attacks against the goverment. yun entire hearing procedure na-ii-sked kada week or month, nasa kulungan ka pa din.

that's the moral story of this entire exercise. kaya tigilan nyo na kaka-atake sa gobyerno. We have a working government now. your strongest critic and loudmoth is now in jail. what now?

kaya nga eh, that is power play. kaya im just concerned with you tsikoteers. stop na and start loving My Pres. Du30. wag na kayo galit lagi. kasi sa tingin ko sample yan of things to come, every critic will be jailed soon. kasi sukang-suka na sambayan sa dilaw. i think every Yellow like for example, si Jim Paredes, yun tiga Palibhasa lalake, si Agot Isidro, I think they will be arrested soon too. kakasira na kasi sila sa'tin lahat. they're more of pest. so stop emulating them my dear tsikoteers.

support our government. support our president. gusto ko maging Las Vegas ang Entertainment City. I wanna retire there.
