Agreed.

Most of us don't have any better presidential bets anyway. Even if people do get tired of his drama, I'm sure they'd still vote for Duterte compared to other bets.

I would go for Roxas simply because I want all the ongoing infra projects to finish which would undoubtedly alleviate the traffic situation and attract more FDIs.

That's good if he has plan of running... And I will still say this again he will not win even if he pushes thru with his candidacy.

Duterte will not RUN if he is true on his decisions.

If he will run by just a sub for the one that submit a COC on their Camp, then he is no different on other candidates, he can be manipulated by other people.

On what he have shown based on statements, (social) / media, he's not willing, even if he already saw a lot of support from people not only here but outside PH, he was still hesitant to accept the possible very heavy responsibility.

So if he will change his decision, better not to vote for him.

My opinion though.

Duterte will not RUN if he is true on his decisions.

If he will run by just a sub for the one that submit a COC on their Camp, then he is no different on other candidates, he can be manipulated by other people.

On what he have shown based on statements, (social) / media, he's not willing, even if he already saw a lot of support from people not only here but outside PH, he was still hesitant to accept the possible very heavy responsibility.

So if he will change his decision, better not to vote for him.

Well, again, PNOY's government style, generally, is on the extreme side of the management thing.... Yes, this has been taught in the business school we attended.

No Project > No corruption > Balanced/Positive BOP.

Minimal Projects > Minimal Corruption > Balanced/Positive BOP

Properly Managed Projects > Average Corruption > Balanced BOP....

MANILA - The Philippinesï¿½ balance of payments (BOP) position - the sum of its total transactions with the rest of the world - reverted to positive territory in September 2015, with a surplus of US$219 million.

Data released by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Monday showed that the September surplus is a turnaround from the $450-million deficit in August 2015 and is higher than year-agoï¿½s $98 million.

It brought the end-September BOP surplus to $1.81 billion, way better than the $3.4-billion deficit same period last year.

BSP Governor Amando Tetangco Jr. traced the inflows last September to the central bankï¿½s foreign exchange operations and income from its foreign investments.

He said deposits of the national government with the central bank also boosted the surplus and offset payments made by the national government for its foreign-denominated debt.

ï¿½This brought the cumulative surplus to $1.81 billion, making us poised to achieve our full-year projection of US$ 2 billion,ï¿½ he said.

ï¿½The healthy BOP figure augurs well for stability in the foreign exchange market,ï¿½ he added.

Agree. Cash is king and the more we have enough funds in the bank the more insulated we are from the regional financial woes (read: China). I think our banking system is quite robust as well with strong fundamentals that keep us away from the danger of a bubble.
