December 19th, 2006 03:49 PM #2depende if automatic trans it needs engine running while checking the fluid but in manual trans theres no need the engine to run,at sabi mo may bubbles ang dipstick,it sounds like the fluid is contaminated with water.

December 19th, 2006 04:43 PM #495 Galant Sir. 1 week palang ako nagpa change ng atf so no water contamination. I used dextron3 rating na atf yung redline high temp. Based kasi sa car manual for 7g from 1 link sa internet use Diamond SPII or equivalent. Ano equivalent nito? Safe na ba ko sa dextron 3? Thanks again!

December 19th, 2006 04:54 PM #5if its not contaminated then youre using the wrong type of fluid,,it will foam excessively and leave through the vent, kaya better change the fluid right away,.
