Sir GUmusut _Amige..scam po iyan ..may isang website iyan fill up ka ng form sa kanila ,tapos pag nalaman nila mailing address mo ..send ka nila application form at hihingan ka ng pera 250$ ata..

noon nasa KSA ako ipinagtanong ko iyan sa friend ko taga bangko dami daw sumulat diyan at nag padala ng pera pero wala na daw na hire sa mga nag apply ....

planning to shift my career in oil industry too. i'm currently located here alberta, canada...blue collar/ trade jobs daw ang kailangan... but the problem is, wala akong experience in this field of work, kung baga... newbie. hehe

so i need to take some schooling...mechanical or electrical siguro to start with para may konting experience. ok na ba tong background for me to hop in this field?

sa oil and gas field halos lahat ng disciplines are there baka kasama yung skill ninyo, myself have worked with some canadian expats before.

i'm a graphic designer, more on print media. i used to work in a manufacturing company in the philippines. more on sales and marketing people yung ka interface ko. but i don't see myself working as a designer my entire life, nakakabato na rin laging nakaupo at nakaharap sa computer buong araw sa trabaho....gusto ko naman tumikim ng ibang putahe. hehehe

as a graphic designer you should be an expert with the latest softwares. in the o & g sector the nearest skill could be the cad (computer-aided design) specialist. this migration in my opinion is your key, but you cannot escape the office environment otherwise a degree in pertoleum engineering is the other alternative.

Agree po!Yung friend ko kase nag autoCAD ngayon sa informatics nag resign sa schlumberger abu dhabi 2 months ago(wala kaseng kwenta slb base na yun)ginaya ako, I resigned last year 3 months lang!hahaha..Since may idea na sya kung san sya mas kikita ng malaki kaya he enrolled in the course. Yung gusto mag OnG abang kayo schlumberger kase biglaan na lang kung magpa exam yan. Kahit technical grad lang kukunin nila if papasa ka sa 2 exams at 3 interviews!hehehe..iwasan nyo lang schlum abu! Try to contact EDI staffers sa Makati inquire lang.Dun na kase sila conduct ng hiring since nagsara Sucat office nila last year.
