I've been able to spend more time with the truck since I came back.

3 things I really like so far: the ride, the AC, and the seats. all make for a very comfy ride

2 things I don't like so far: the A-pillar is huge and it's in the friggin way! also, it is considerably chunkier than my previous pick-ups (early 90's L200 and late 90's Isuzu TFR) so still needs some getting used to when squeezing through tight spots.

so far so good. 3k mileage since I got it back in April.

Our navara 4x2 mt was finally delivered to our home this morning. Problem was, we ordered an EL calibre. They delivered a calibre model only, priced at P100,000 less. I told them this is not the vehicle I ordered because EL has foglamps. They insisted this is an EL and the foglamps only come in 4x4 variants. I know what Im buying. I've seen and ridden a friend's EL 4x2 mt, visited other dealerships, and talked to several agents before landing to them.
I brought out the navara brochure with specs and showed to them that an EL calibre 4x2 indeed has foglamps. They said the brochure i have was a misprint from thailand (but in fact a "Philippines only" brochure). So i told them why are they giving out brochures with wrong info??? Some people rely on brochures for their purchases and you are misleading them, including me. This was over breakfast which we prepared for them in our home [emoji28].
Back to the unit and more obvious lower model specs are identified. The side mirrors don't have signal flashers. Again i was told that was a 4x4 feature. No it's not. The rotary type ACs as well, instead of push type. Napakasimple na lang: walang EL emblem sa likod. That's when they called casa and confirmed that they had indeed delivered a wrong unit. Buti sana kung switched unit lang and my real unit was left at the casa. But no, this wrong unit they delivered was actually named after me with insurance and all (I did not get insurance from them and this was bank PO, not in house).
I'm not gonna throw speculations on what they're trying to pull or if it was all a mistake as they claim it was the sta rosa plant's fault. Overall, it was bad service and complete negligence. Buti na lang I did not sign any release form or had them leave me with this unit, or else I would probably have been left with bigger problems. Haay [emoji53] New paperwork again and more days of waiting. They better make up for this hassle.

Our correct order of EL calibre has now been delivered. Still closed the deal with them. I can't afford another week or two not having the right car for the job. I gotta hand it to Shaw dealership for making up for it and delivering the unit the next day. Things are sorted out and I'm just glad the actual unit is here.

Gud PM, ask ko lang kung saang gas station kyo nagpapakarga ng diesel? Nag try ksi ako sa UniOil then napansin ko sometimes nag emit sya ng white smoke. Normal lng ba un 69km pa lang tinakbo ng NP300 AT 4x2 ko. Saka napansin ko after ko makuha ung unit mejo loose ung base na pinagkakabitan ng antenna eh sinasabi ng SA ko na normal lang daw un sbi ko naman bakit sa ibang unit nila di naman ganun. Eto pa nakuha ko ung unit na walang bedliner ksi wala pa cla stock never ko pa nilagyan ng gamit after 2days dinala ko sa kanila para ipa check ung loose na base ng antenna inakyat ng isa nila technician ata para check ung loose na base ng antenna binuksan nila ung trunk then after nun dun ko napansin na may gasgas. Dko ksi na check lahat dahil that day coding ang unit at past 2pm na nilabas. Un pa lang napansin ko sa bago ko unit sana wala na iba problem.......

Meron n ba sa inyo nakahanap ng roof rail ng 4x4 na locally available na? If meron kayo idea san may actual parts, pa advise naman. Thanks!

Hi, i planning to change my 6 years old Montero sport, my wife prefer get the pickup truck.....

after looking around, i feel navara really value for money...

but i never own any nissan car or truck in my life....

hope i can get some help here,..at the moment i looking at 4x4 VL..

1. can i install backup sensor on it? and can it run together with reserve Cam? too use too backup sensor...

2, where to get deck cover or bed roller ? was it water tight ? cost of damage? other than carryboy and LA car.

3. anyone lift up the Navara body ? how many inches, comfort after lift? cost of lifting? i staying at flooding area...

4, please recommence best Casa or SA, last week i was at Quezon Nissan, little disappointed...

5, what are the free gift Casa provide ?

6, which color suit to Navara ? i prefer silver, but my wife like savanna orange...

3. anyone lift up the Navara body ? how many inches, comfort after lift? cost of lifting? i staying at flooding area... - saw at Nissan Gallery Ortigas CASA, owner says it costed him 40K for 2" lift kit (Ironman brand, if i remember it right). claims it didn't affect comfort. Nav has lower wading depth of 600 than the Rangers 800 but I personally don't mind because I regardless of flood height, di ko muna cia ilulusong

She's nice and maasikaso. Wanted to get it from NorthEdsa, but Ortigas dealer is 10mins away from my place vs. theirs na 1.5 hour drive

5, what are the free gift Casa provide ? depends on your haggling skills. Bedliner, mattings are the usual ones.

6, which color suit to Navara ? i prefer silver, but my wife like savanna orange... I was torn between Silver and Hornet Gold/Savanna Orange, but since I already have Silver Sentra, went with the latter. Silver looks elegant. Chrome blends well with the color, same as blacks which is a good contrast.
