Has anyone encountered a 'Low Oil' warning on their unit's instrument cluster panel?
I have a NP300 VL 4x4 which is 5 months old and with around 3,600kms it. Checked the dip stick and oil is still on the normal range but on the lower portion.
No leaks were noticed, could the engine be consumming oil? Or what could be other reasons for the engine to be losing oil.

Low Oil Warning Lamp means low oil pressure is circulating in your engine. Driving with this lamp on may result in damage to your engine. Have your engine checked by a qualified Nissan mechanic.

Its not the red genie looking lamp that lighted, just a prompt on its information cluster saying 'low oil', referring to the oil level. Anyway, I brought it to the casa and they did not find anything wrong saying that the sensor might just be too sensitive. They just topped off the oil. I'll just observe this and check the oil level regularly if it does not go down.

YD has built in oil level meter separate from oil pressure switch.. Oil must be going somewhere like turbo, crankcase vent, piston and valve seals or it could just be low oil out from the factory like a factory worker skipped the checklist. Try to observe the level before starting the engine for every first use.

sir,regarding sa oil consumption normal lng sa lahat ng makina basta bago pa medyo mataas ang consumption ng oil especially sa mga diesel engines either low,medium,high speed diesel engines but in the long run maging normal na yung consumption nya.

Ah ok, maavail pala yung free insurance sa bpi, nakalagay kasi na excluded yung trucks nasa isip ko kasama sa trucks yung pick up truck. Hahaha ok thanks a lot po..

Bpi nakatali ka sa bpi insurance for the duration of the loan, unlike other bank car loans pwede ka kumuha ng insurance na gusto mo.

May marecommend ba kayo na dealer? Kahit man lang free bed liner at back up sensor.. *#*#$($)

Sir check nyo sa olx. Meron mga good deals doon some agents and dealerships. Last one i saw with bedliner and backup sensor sa nissan comonwealth. lahat ata talaga nagprice increase na. Good luck with the purchase!
