Guys, i'm planning to get the Navara 4.2 EL Calibre M/T. Kumsuta naman po ung FC nyo? What are the figures pag city driving moderate to heavy and ung long drives nyo? I'm driving now a small car and gas has never been an issue, worry ko lng baka magastos eto sa diesel.

Anyone who measured theirs?

Mga napansin ko sa np300 namin:

Aircon: Medyo hilaw lamig pag di sagad or malapit sa max yung thermostat.

Turbo: matining tunog ng turbo. Nakakapanibago coming from a fortuner/montero user.

May vibration sa steering wheel/dashboard ako napansin if nagsstop/nagbbrake while nasa D ka. Mawawala naman once na umandar ulit or ilagay sa N.

Anyone noticed these situations also?

Mga napansin ko sa np300 namin:

Had the opportunity to test drive the Navarra Calibre EL AT, i noticed that the steering is on the heavy side just like my Monterosport. IIRC it is the only pick up in its class that uses a 5 link coil rear suspension and rear passenger aircon vents.

Fuel consumption is alright. Parang mas matipid yung 2013 montero glsv namin at 2016 fortuner.

Additional observations:

May kalampag sa uneven concrete road! Iba pa to sa rattling sound sa steering wheel.

Pero minor lang naman siguro ito and madali mapaayos sa 1k check up.

Lastly medyo OC mga sir: Sagad na ba yung 2 bars na low fuel or na zezero yun? Nung narelease kasi unit tinakbo ko pa ng 15 kms (1 hour and 30 mins kas traffic.) bago nakapag karga. Ilang liters ba ang reserve kapag 2 bars nalang and naka ilaw na low fuel?

Good day sirs, normal ba na mabagal acceleration ng navara vl cvt pag bagong start. Parang mataas na rpm mga almost 2000 rpm na mabagal parin mag accelerate. After mga 10 minutes driving ok na sya kahit stop and go. Sa unang start lang talaga makupad.

went to Sagada with team Navara last week. i have to say it was the perfect environment for me to fully get to know my truck.

first off, the ride was perfect (ok, i would actually prefer maybe +0.5/1.0 clicks more compression damping at the front/rear). very comfortable, and felt right at home both in the highways (nlex/sctex/tplex) and in the twisties (halsema hiway). the steering, which was heavyish in the city, felt good while carving up the mountain roads. in conjunction with the manual mode of the transmission, it made for a very engaging and fun drive plus engine was also very responsive.

total distance driven: around 800 km (bulacan > baguio via marcos hiway > sagada via halsema hiway and back)
total fuel used: around 70 liters
hiway FC: ave 15.5 km/l
total trip FC: ave 11 km/l

i've had my truck for 16 months now, mileage around the 16k mark. the only regret i've had so far is that I should've sprung for the VL instead of the EL i have now

malayo pa mararating nyan sir. yung sa akin 2 bars na, from la trinidad market umabot pa ako ng shell rosario, at dun na ko nag full tank ulit.

one thing i learned though, if mababa na ang fuel level mo (mga 2 bars and below) dont park in a steep incline with the front facing downwards. kasi if you idle in that position long enough, hahanginin yung fuel line. nasa rear part ata ng fuel tank yung feeder kaya ganun.

the casa recommends oil changes every 10k. kaya sa 5k service interval, top up lang ang ginagawa nila. 1 liter lang naman.

Nakaka OC lang po kasi yung nasa panel is 2 bars nalang, fuel low light and “- - - -” yung reading niya nung tinakbo ko pa po ng less than 15 kms. (1 hour 30 mins due to traffic). Di ako agad nakapagpa karga kasi dumeretso ako sa outdoor club greenhills from nissan UN para kumuha ng bedliner. Hindi naman po ako naubusan or namatayan nakakaparanoid lang po kasi masama daw po sa fuel pump/system yun. Hehe

Nacheck ko yung oil level full naman indication sa dipstick. Transmission fluid wala sya dipstick so mukang sealed transmission. Baka mababa level ng transmission fluid. Wala lang time ibalik sa casa. 300kms palang natakbo ng navara

i don't own a navara, but
tingnan nyo po, kung may butas na hindi nakukublihan ng filter.
kung wala naman, ay ok na yan. kung may butas na hindi na-u-upuan ng filter, ay may hangin na hindi na-filter na makakalusot.

Ok lang po ba mag change oil sa 1 kms?(optional) I already got my np300 tas naka abot na sa 1kms sabi ng maintenance sa next 10kms na ulit ako mag pa change oil thanks
