After series of isolations, this is whats causing enigne noise during startups



NOT the OAP, tensioneer bearings, or other pulleys. Its the small stones caught in the grooves of the belt..

Picked up the stones then cleaned with joy diswashing liquid, noise now gone..

Yes, but not religously. Lagi ko kasi nalilimot although a bottle of 2T is always in the door pocket.
And i dont observe the ratio, usually madami ako nilalagay mga 200mL kahit hindi full tank.

Whats im OC about about is fuel cleanliness because contaminants do more damage on the injectors than adding lubricity..

May ration pa minsan ng Diesel sa warehouse at eto ginawa ko to make sure malinis papasok sa tank...



Lusot din dyan ang emulsified water, pero atleast bawas ang inorganic contminants.. Yung primary fuel filter na bahala sa water contaminant..

Kala ko po kasi dati air in fuel Lang problem ng nav, Nung pinasok ko po sa casa, supply pump na, at yung tunog na magaspang; sa casa tawag nila fuel knock, kaya ko po natanong yung sa 2t mixture Baka sakaling makatulong sa lifespan ng supply pump, 32k plng natakbo ng nav namin.

32K supply pump? baka SCV lang yan, nagoyo ka ng casa. Pinapalitan mo ba fuel filters mo, how often?

Ang kalaban ng fuel injection system ng CRDI engine yung inorganic contaminants (dirt, rust,metal shavings,sludge) leading to early failure due to erosion ng surfaces.. Yung water naman kapag nakapasok, wawasakin non ang injector since water flashes when subjected to heat thus creating enormous pressure to the injector tip.Yan kinakatakot ko mangyari kaya mas frequent replacement ng flters..

Yung 2T helps only in lubricity but not totally needed since our fuel system is still high on sulfur at 500ppm (natural lubricant). Pero since yung nilalagay natin sa tank ay mixed, mas safe na yung may added lubricity. Yung mga Euro4 diesels, yan ang kelangan ng 2T lalo na kung sa old-school diesels mo gagamitin dahil nasa less than 50ppm ang sulfur nyan..

32,000 km palang po ang odometer reading ng nav namin. Every 10,000 km po ang palit ko Ng primary at secondary fuel filter. Yung supply pump price po is Asa 105,000+ po, pero buti nahabol pa po sa warranty yung samin.

Hi guys, im thinking of getting a Navarra anytime soon. How much are the prices there? I want to compare to the prices here in the province para alam ko kung may difference ba or wala. Also whats included sa freebies? TPL? floormats, etc?
How much is the TEch Extreme? good buy ba ito? ANy news when new navarra coming out? baka biglang lumabas kasi new navarra. I'll be using it ON road most of the time. bihira lang cguro offroad. I woud say 90% on road, 10% offroad. Yung mga 4x2 ba magkano din? Should i got for 4x4? type ko kasi tech extreme pero 4x4 lang kasi sya. Magkaiba din ba engine ng 4x2 at 4x4? Thanks guys!!!
