guys i was at SM North then may mga tao dun ng gran livina..then i clarified kung umc sila or nmpi..sabi nmpi daw..then asked me why..so i asked them info bout the new patrol if they have any...they told me its 6.5 million talaga ang price ng 5.8 L na V8..un pa lang daw ang model na lalabas..dunno if its accurate since theyre from nmpi but it seems that pricing will be really around 6.6 million..

di pa nila ginawang 6.66 million para masaya

Its still Universal Motors. Dapat ilalabas sya last month pero na-postponed muna.

I just thought of it, it's completely stupid to buy the new Nissan Patrol if its price will indeed be 6.6 million pesos. Cause if you really want this thing and be very willing to pay that much, there are other options.

Imagine, the top of the line Infiniti QX56 4WD (minus Patrol's AWD) is priced only at $59,800. So, in case you have one shipped and legally imported from the US, it will hardly reach a total of $140,000. When converted to peso, that's about where the Nissan Patrol will be selling.

Also: Infiniti QX56 will surely be released commercially this US Summer 2010.

So if you want true luxury, brand exclusivity and a totally unique vehicle, get the Infiniti QX56. Same way with the USDM Nissan Murano.

Same lang ang specs ng new QX56 at Patrol 5.6 V8.Exterior lang ang pinagkaiba.

6.6Million ? Akala ko pa naman ang main target ng nissan patrol eh ang price range ng LC which is at 4M. Kung nasa 4M yan or less, better since meron talaga siyang kapwa Jap vehicles na lalabanan. Unlike now, 6.6M ... ano bang Jap vehicle pa ang lalabanan ng patrol ? :dunno: Paj is at 3M , LC is at 4M+.

Parang Lexus ang tinapatan niyan eh. Or Cadillac.

Exped nalang ako, mas mura pa. hehehe.

At 4.5M, mas mahal pa siya sa Volvo XC90. Yung ka level niya na Pajero is at 3.3M lang while yung Toyota Prado around 3.4M lang. May kamahalan pa rin even at 4.5M.

Panay diesel naman yang sinabi mo eh.. Luma nayang XC90 kahit Volvo pa yan..

May diesel variant ang new gen Patrol at same engine sya yata nang Infiniti FX30 Diesel sa Europe so malamang mas mura yan!

At saka katapat na nang Patrol this time ay Land Cruiser 200!

In other countries, LC talaga ang katapat ng Patrol. Nahubaran lang kasi dito ng mga features ang local Patrol kaya naging mura para itapat sa Pajero and Prado.

Tama ka dyan,LC200 na ang katapat nya this time at hindi na Pajero BK and Prado.

I think UMC is thinking ways para maibaba ang presyo nang Patrol 5.6 V8 na CBU kaya di pa mailabas hanggang ngayon.

sa prado and mitsu mukhang malabo hehe kasi wala naman ata sa lineup ng nissan ung para dyan..
sa MS and Fortuner and Everest..lets hope they bring in the Pathfinder aka Navara SUV...

The MS and Fortuner are pick up truck based sport utes. Nissan's pick up based sport ute is the Pathfinder (not sold here). The Pajero BK competes with the Patrol and LC200 in technology and features but size wise, the biggest engine it can offer is a six cylinder and it never came with solid axles up front like the predecessors of the Land Cruiser and Patrol.

And don't even try bringing the XC90 to places where Patrols and LC200's tread. They only place they meet is in the price bracket but they are built for very different markets.
